Madison Southern assistant coach Donnie Hunley started the following lineup:  6-1 Sr. Savannah Fallis, 5-10 Sr. Conner Coyle, 5-11 Sr. Marley Lawson, 5-3 8th Grade Samantha Cornelison, and 5-6 Jr. Ashlyn Clark.  Berea coach Dammian Stepp countered with 5-10 Sr. Alex Horn, 5-7 So. Alyssa Carter, 6-0 So. Adrienne Beggs, 5-6 Sr. Jordan Sandefur, and 5-5 7th Grade Mati Stepp.

 

Madison Southern captured a hard fought 54-49 victory over Berea.  There were five ties and 10 lead changes in the game.  Madison Southern shot 40% from the field including six of 15 from the three point line.  The Lady Eagles connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 14 points off nine Berea turnovers.  Berea shot 39.5% from the field including six of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Pirates connected on nine of 15 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 11 Madison Southern turnovers.

 

Savannah Fallis led Madison Southern with 17 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and two steals.  Samantha Cornelison added 12 points on four three point baskets.  Ashlyn Clark recorded 10 points and five assists.  Marley Lawson added eight points, 12 rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots.  Conner Coyle chipped in with five points, nine rebounds, and three blocked shots.

 

Jordan Sandefur led Berea with 20 points including four three point baskets, four rebounds, and four assists.  Alex Horn added 13 points and nine rebounds.  Adrienne Beggs chipped in with eight points, three rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Mati Stepp recorded eight points and six assists.
