Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Macey Goff, 5-9 So. Lindi DeBilzan, 5-9 Jr. Tekiya Garr-Carter, 5-6 Jr. Terri Abram, and 5-9 Jr. Caroline Bennett.  Anderson County coach Clay Birdwhistell countered with 5-11 Sr. Sammy Rogers, 5-9 Sr. Alorra Sims, 6-1 So. Lauren Boblitt, 5-6 8th Grade Sophie Smith, and 5-7 So. Jaclynn Ruble.

 

Anderson County recorded 16 steals, 11 blocked shots, and converted 26 Lafayette turnovers into 25 points on their way to a 60-35 victory over the Lady Generals.  Anderson County shot 36.7% from the field including five of 18 from the three point line.  The Lady Bearcats connected on 19 of 34 free throws and pulled down 41 rebounds.  Lafayette shot 19.4% from the field including zero of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Generals connected on 11 of 22 free throws, pulled down 51 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 18 Anderson County turnovers.

 

Sammy Rogers led Anderson County with 19 points including two three point baskets, three blocked shots, and three steals.  Jaclynn Ruble added 14 points, six rebounds, and three assists.  Lauren Boblitt recorded nine points, 10 rebounds, five blocked shots, and five steals.  Sophie Smith chipped in with eight points and eight rebounds.

 

Terri Abram led Lafayette with eight points, six rebounds, and three steals.  Macey Goff added seven points and five rebounds.  Caroline Bennett recorded six points and 10 rebounds.  5-8 8th Grade Elise Pankins pulled down seven rebounds.
