Bryan Station coach Tommy Johnson started the following lineup: 6-4 Fr. Nathan Mack, 6-3 Sr. David Demarcus, 6-7 Sr. Braeden Warren, 5-10 Jr. Eric “Boss” Boone, and 6-0 Sr. Steven Groves.  Lexington Christian Academy coach Nate Valentine countered with 6-6 Jr. Carter Hendricksen, 6-6 So. Kyle Rode, 6-6 Jr. Austin Hall, 6-0 Sr. Blake Richardson, and 6-2 Sr. Nathan Harper.

 

Eric “Boss” Boone hit a shot from mid court at the buzzer to give Bryan Station a 64-63 victory over Lexington Christian Academy on the road.  There were five lead changes and seven ties in the game.  Bryan Station shot 52.2% from the field including six of 16 from the three point line.  The Defenders connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored four points off nine LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 42.9% from the field including five of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 11 Bryan Station turnovers.

 

Eric “Boss” Boone led Bryan Station with 25 points including three three point baskets, 14 rebounds, and eight assists.  David Demarcus added 13 points including three three point baskets.  Stephen Groves chipped in with 12 points.  Nathan Mack recorded seven points and five rebounds.

 

Carter Hendricksen led LCA with 26 points including two three point baskets and nine rebounds.  Kyle Rode added 16 points, six rebounds, and four assists.  Nathan Harper recorded 12 points including two three point baskets and eight rebounds.
