Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 5-11 Jr. Grace Berger, 5-7 Jr. Kia Sivils, 5-9 Jr. Natalie Fichter, 5-4 So. Ashlee Harris, and 5-5 Jr. Kiki Samsel.  Assumption coach Amy Sigel countered with 5-9 Jr. Samantha Babey, 5-9 Jr. Taylor Allen, 6-0 So. Abby McQueary, 5-8 Sr. Mckenna Schelb, and 5-8 Sr. Jenna Calhoun.

Sacred Heart Academy defeated Assumption by a score of 67-43.  Sacred Heart shot 47.3% from the field including three of 14 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 28 Assumption turnovers.  Assumption shot 35.9% from the field including three of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Rockets connected on 12 of 14 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored seven points off 13 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Grace Berger led Sacred Heart with 20 points, 11 rebounds, and four steals.  Kiki Samsel added 12 points including two three point baskets. 5-6 Fr. Erin Toller also scored 12 points and recorded four steals.  Natalie Fichter recorded five points, seven rebounds, three blocked shots, and two steals.

6-0 Sr. Piper Gray led Assumption with 13 points including three three point baskets.  Abby McQueary added nine points, nine rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Samantha Babey recorded five points, six rebounds, and three assists.
