Sacred heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 5-11 Jr. Grace Berger, 5-7 Jr. Kia Sivils, 5-9 Jr. Natalie Fichter, 5-4 So. Ashlee Harris, and 5-6 Jr. Kiki Samsel.  Scott coach Rhonda Klette countered with 5-7 Jr. Alexis Stapleton, 5-6 So. Emma Profitt, 6-0 Sr. Kimberly Davis, 5-4 Sr. Kirsten Brown, and 5-6 So. Summer Secrist.

Sacred Heart Academy led 49-45 after three quarters but pulled away in the final quarter to earn a 67-48 victory.  The score was tied seven times and there were five lead changes in this game.  Sacred Heart shot 45.6% from the field including eight of 16 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 22 Scott turnovers.  Scott shot 47.5% from the field including two of six from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored six points off 10 Scott turnovers.

Kiki Samsel led Sacred Heart Academy with 21 points including six three point baskets, three rebounds, and four assists.  Grace Berger added 18 points, nine rebounds, seven assists, and two steals.  6-0 Fr. Kristen Clemons recorded eight points and six rebounds.

Summer Secrist led Scott with 14 points and four assists.  Alexis Stapleton added 11 points and five rebounds.  5-9 Jr. Kelly Franxman recorded 11 points and four rebounds.
