Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Justin Mitchell, 5-10 Jr. Jalen Williams, 6-4 Jr. Andreus Green, 5-8 So. Ramond Jackson, and 5-9 Sr. Brendon Ford.  Ballard coach Chris Renner countered with 6-2 Jr. Kereion Douglas, 6-2 Jr. Dorian Tisby, 6-3 Jr. Delonta Wimberly, 5-10 Jr. Tyron Duncan, and 5-11 Sr. Antoine Darby.

 

Ballard raced out to a 26-13 first quarter lead on their way to a 93-85 victory over Henry Clay.  Ballard shot 49.3% from the field including three of 13 from the three point line.  The Bruins connected on 22 of 30 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 22 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 60.4% from the field including eight of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on 13 of 19 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 11 Ballard turnovers. 

 

Dorian Tisby led Ballard with 34 points including eight of 10 free throws, six rebounds, and two steals.  Antoine Darby added 28 points including three three point baskets and five rebounds.  Tyron Duncan chipped in with 10 points and four steals.  Delonta Wimberly also scored 10 points.

 

Andreus Green led Henry Clay with 21 points and four rebounds.  Justin Mitchell added 19 points, six rebounds, and four steals.  6-3 So. Quentyn Jackson recorded 17 points including three three point baskets and four rebounds.  Jalen Williams chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets.  5-11 So. Montaveon Bean added nine points and four rebounds.
