Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Justin Mitchell, 6-1 So. Quentyn Jackson, 6-4 Jr. Andreus Green, 5-9 Sr. Brendon Ford, and 6-0 So. Keaston Brown.  Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Scott Chalk countered with 6-4 So. Star Ifeacho, 6-3 Sr. Javea Richardson, 6-4 Sr. Isaiah Yeast, 6-2 So. Jared Gadd, and 6-3 Sr. Taveion Hollingsworth.

 

Paul Laurence Dunbar outscored Henry Clay 23-7 in the second quarter on their way to a 77-59 victory.  Dunbar shot 45.8% from the field including four of 13 from the three point line.  The Bulldogs connected on 19 of 23 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 23 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 33.3% from the field including two of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on 17 of 25 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored eight points off 16 Dunbar turnovers.

 

Javea Richardson led Dunbar with 21 points and two blocked shots.  Taveion Hollingsworth added 20 points including three three point baskets, seven rebounds, five assists, and two steals.  Isaiah Yeast chipped in with 14 points and four rebounds.  Star Ifeacho recorded nine points and 15 rebounds.  Jared Gadd added nine points, three assists, and three steals.

 

Andreus Green led Henry Clay with 22 points, six rebounds, and four steals.  Green was 10 of 15 from the field and two of four from the free throw line.  Justin Mitchell added 14 points and nine rebounds.  Keaston Brown recorded seven points, five rebounds, and three assists.
