Eastern Kentucky University coach Chrissy Roberts started the following lineup: 5-11 Sr. Shavontae Naylor, 5-11 So. Abby Wright, 6-1 Sr. Jalen O’Bannon, 5-5-3 Jr. Marcella Rocha, and 5-8 Sr. Alexus Cooper.  Wright State coach Katrina Merriweather countered with 5-10 So. Symone Simmons. 5-9 Jr. Chelsea Welch, 5-11 Jr. Lexi Smith, 5-8 So. Emily Vogelpohl, and 5-6 So. Mackenzie Taylor.

Wright State outscored Eastern Kentucky 28-16 in the third quarter on the way to an 85-73 victory.  Wright State shot 44.3% from the field including nine of 22 from the three point line.  They connected on 22 of 27 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 12 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky shot 48.4% from the field including eight of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on five of nine free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored eight points off 10 Wright State turnovers.

Lexi Smith led Wright State with 21 points and 10 rebounds.  Smith was seven of eight from the field and seven of eight from the free throw line.  Chelsea Welch added 17 points including nine of 10 free throws.  Emily Vogelpohl recorded 12 points and 5-7 Fr. Myrthe den Heeten chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets.

Alexus Cooper led Eastern Kentucky University with 26 points including six three point baskets and eight assists.  Jalen O’Bannon added 18 points and five rebounds.
