Anderson County coach Clay Birdwhistell started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Sammy Rogers, 5-6 Jr. Taylor Harley, 6-1 So. Lauren Boblitt, 5-5 8th Grade Sophie Smith, and 5-7 Jaclynn Ruble.  Mercy Academy coach Keith Baisch countered with 5-9 Sr. Sadie Zeisloft, 5-9 Sr. Josie Woods, 6-2 Jr. Danielle Feldkamp, 5-8 So. Regan Berger, and 5-9 So. Raquael Reese.

 

Mercy Academy outscored Anderson County 29-5 in the second quarter on their way to a 75-35 victory.  Mercy Academy shot 52% from the field including seven of 18 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on 16 of 23 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 34 points off 24 Anderson County turnovers.  Anderson County shot 31% from the field including five of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bearcats connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 16 Mercy turnovers.

 

5-5 Fr. Hope Sivori led Mercy Academy with 16 points and four steals.  Josie Woods added 15 points including three three point baskets.  Regan Berger chipped in with 10 points and three assists.  Raquael Reese recorded nine points and seven rebounds.  Sadie Zeisloft also scored nine points.  Danielle Feldkamp added seven points and 10 rebounds.

 

Sammy Rogers led Anderson County with eight points, five rebounds, and two steals.  Taylor Harley also scored eight points.  Sophie Smith recorded seven points and two steals.  Lauren Boblitt chipped in with five points, five rebounds, and two blocked shots.
