Harrison County coach Kimberly Furnish started the following lineup: 5-5 Jr. Christy Adams, 5-5 Fr. Katelin Ecklar, 6-0 Sr. Emma Darnell, 5-1 8th Grade Kendall Box, and 5-5 So. Madison Kellione.  Lexington Christian Academy countered with 5-8 Sr. Charis Hill, 5-7 Fr. Jaylin McClanahan, 5-8 Jr. Payton Rogers, 5-7 Sr. Sydney Weeks, and 5-8 So. Grace Combs.

 

Madison Kellione hit a three point basket in the final seconds to give Harrison County a 50-49 come-from-behind victory over Lexington Christian Academy.  Ironically it was the only three point basket Harrison County made all night.  LCA led 27-12 in the second quarter and still maintained a 41-36 lead entering the final quarter.  The score was tied once and there were three lead changes in the game.

 

Harrison County shot 35.4% from the field including one of 10 from the three point line.  The Fillies connected on 15 of 23 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 21 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 27.4% from the field including five of 28 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on 10 of 20 free throws, pulled down 49 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 18 Harrison County turnovers.

 

Madison Kellione led Harrison County with 19 points, 13 rebounds, two assists, and five steals.  Kendall Box added seven points and four steals.

 

Sydney Weeks led LCA with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and two steals.  Bethany Selby added nine points and eight rebounds.  Charis Hill recorded eight points and 13 rebounds.  Grace Combs chipped in with seven points and six rebounds.
