Southeast Missouri coach Rick Ray started the following lineup:  6-7 Jr. Joel Angus III, 6-6 Jr. Antonius Cleveland, 6-7 Jr. Trey Kellum, 6-1 Jr. Jamaal Calvin, and 6-4 Sr. Isiah Jones.  Eastern Kentucky University coach Dan McHale countered with 6-7 Sr. Jarelle Reischel, 6-5 Jr. Javontae Hawkins, 6-9 Fr. Nick Mayo, 6-1 So. Paul Jackson, and 6-2 Jr. Isaac McGlone.

 

Eastern Kentucky raced out to a 43-33 halftime lead on their way to an 88-69 victory over Southeast Missouri.  Eastern Kentucky University shot 50% from the field including nine of 25 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 21 Southeast Missouri turnovers.  Southeast Missouri shot 38.6% from the field including six of 16 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 19 of 28 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 17 Eastern Kentucky University turnovers.

 

Jarelle Reischel led Eastern Kentucky University with 21 points including three three point baskets and six rebounds.  6-4 Jr. Jaylen Babb-Harrison added 18 points including four three point baskets.  Nick Mayo recorded 15 points, seven rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Javontae Hawkins chipped in with 13 points, six rebounds, and five assists.  Paul Jackson added six points and nine rebounds.

 

Isiah Jones led Southeast Missouri with 19 points including three three point baskets, eight rebounds, and three assists.  Joel Angus III added 12 points and eight rebounds.  6-9 Fr. Tony Anderson recorded 11 points and six rebounds.  Trey Kellum chipped in with nine points and Jamaal Calvin added nine points, six assists, and four steals.
