McCreary Central outscored West Jessamine i28-17 in the final quarter to earn a 75-67 come-from-behind victory. McCreary Central shot 40% from the field including seven of 19 from the three point line. The Lady Raiders connected on 18 of 25 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and committed 11 turnovers. West Jessamine shot 37% from the field including eight of 23 from beyond the arc. The Lady Colts connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and committed five turnovers.
5-10 Sr. Kaylee Cotton led McCreary Central with 38 points, 14 rebounds, and four steals. 5-6 8th Grade Ally Anderson added 32 points including five three point baskets and nine of 11 free throws. 5-10 Jr. Brooke Sluder and 5-9 Sr. Cyndol Kiser pulled down nine and seven rebounds respectively.
5-6 Fr. Faith Osborne led West Jessamine with 19 points including five three point baskets. 5-3 Jr. Bethany Hamilton added 12 points. 5-10 8th Grade Anna Rexford recorded 11 points and 12 rebounds and 5-6 Fr. Corrie Hall chipped in with 10 points. 5-11 Fr. Kara Morgan added eight points and nine rebounds.
