Forest Park coach Jeff Litherland started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Jaxson Cronin, 6-2 So. Sam Englert, 6-4 Sr. Ben Wendhoit, 6-0 So. Daniel Lusk, and 6-1 Sr. David Lusk. Owen County coach Devin Duvall countered with 6-5 Sr. Michael Dunaway, 6-1 Sr. Blaine Forsee, 6-7 Sr. Carson Williams, 5-11 Sr. Chad McDonald, and 6-1 Sr. Vince Toftness.
Owen County defeated Forest Park by a score of 72-55. Owen County shot 65.9% from the field including five of 12 from the three point line. The Rebels connected on 13 of 23 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 10 points off seven Forest Park turnovers. Forest Park shot 34.7% from the field including four of 19 from beyond the arc. The Rangers connected on 17 of 23 free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 13 Owen County turnovers.
Vince Toftness led Owen County with 23 points and four assists. Carson Williams added 14 points, 15 rebounds, four assists, and six blocked shots. Chad McDonald also scored 14 points. 6-4 Jr. Cameron McAnally chipped in with 10 points and four rebounds.
David Lusk led Forest Park with 20 points including two three point baskets. Sam Englert added 13 points and five rebounds. Ben Wendhoit chipped in with nine points and four rebounds.
