Bryan Station coach Shawn Ransom started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Zariah Kavanaugh, 5-4 Sr. Asjah Hall, 5-5 Jr. Carah Burdette, 5-4 Sr. Ezhaunnai Ighodaro, and 5-6 Sr. Destiny Cozart.  Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford countered with 5-9 Sr. Anovia Byars, 5-8 Jr. Lexi Long, 5-9 Sr. Jordyn Jackson, 5-6 Sr. T’Laya Lyvers, and 5-8 So. Braxton Price.

 

Henry Clay defeated Bryan Station by a score of 82-49.  Henry Clay shot 38.2% from the field including two of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on 42 of 56 free throws, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 28 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 34.6% from the field including four of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Lady defenders connected on nine of 23 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 22 Henry Clay turnovers.

 

T’Laya Lyvers led Henry Clay with 27 points including two three point baskets and seven rebounds.  Braxton Price added 12 points on 12 of 12 free throws and pulled down seven rebounds.  Jordyn Jackson chipped in with nine points.

 

Carah Burdette led Bryan Station with 16 points.  Destiny Cozart added nine points.  Zariah Kavanaugh recorded seven points, five rebounds, and three assists.
