Garrard County coach Scott Latham started the following lineup: 5-8 Jr. Sam Adams, 5-6 Sr. Randa Morris, 5-10 Jr. Sis Logan, 5-5 Sr. Madison Davis, and 5-8 Jr. Sam Adams.  Lexington Catholic coach Scott True countered with 5-9 Sr. Sarah Bonn, 5-7 Sr. Caroline Osbourn, 5-9 So. Courtney Bailey, 5-2 So. Ashley Frebis, and 5-5 Fr. Jay Ballard.

Lexington Catholic defeated Garrard County by a score of 48-40.  Lexington Catholic shot 45.9% from the field including six of 16 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on eight of 13 from the free throw line, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 16 Garrard County turnovers.  Garrard County shot 34.1% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Lions connected on eight of nine free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 14 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Ashley Frebis led Lexington Catholic with16 points including two three point baskets.  Caroline Osbourn added 14 points, five rebounds, and three steals.  Jay Ballard chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets.  Sarah Bonn recorded six points, five rebounds, and three assists.

Maddy Day led Garrard County with 22 points, six rebounds, and four assists.  Sam Adams added 13 points including two three point baskets.  Randa Morris also pulled down six rebounds.
