Kenyon vs. Transylvania (Women)

Kenyon coach Suzanne Helfant started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Bailey Dominguez, 5-11 So. Griffin Tullis, 5-10 So. Ifeoma Archimalo, 5-4 Jr. Sidney Cera, and 5-7 Sr. Molly Rubin.  Transylvania coach Juli Fulks countered with 5-10 Fr. Kristen Hayes, 5-8 Sr. Katelyn Smith, 6-0 So. Rachel Cox, 5-6 Sr. Lindsay Hieronymus, and 5-6 Sr. Shawn Kolani.

 

Transylvania defeated Kenyon by a score of 78-59.  Transylvania shot 42.6% from the field including 11 of 31 from the three point line.  The Pioneers connected on 21 of 25 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored six points off 13 Kenyon turnovers.  Kenyon shot 42.9% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Ladies connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored eight points off 12 Transylvania turnovers.

 

Katelyn Smith led Transylvania with 23 points including three three point baskets.  Shawn Kolani added 15 points including four three point baskets. 

 

Bailey Dominguez led Kenyon with eight points including two three point baskets.  Sidney Cera added eight points, five assists, and three steals.  6-1 Jr. Charlotte Bussema also scored eight points.
