Henry Clay defeated Paul Laurence Dunbar by a score of 14-6.  Henry Clay recorded 14 first downs and 313 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized five times for 27 yards, lost two fumbles and had a pass intercepted.  Paul Laurence Dunbar recorded 17 first downs and 287 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized six times for 52 yards and lost a fumble.

Joquise Buford led Henry Clay’s ground game with 114 yards on 17 carries.  Marcus Tyler carried the ball six times for 63 yards.  Austin Bledsoe added 32 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.  Marcus Tyler completed six of nine passes for 40 yards with one interception.  CJ Tackett completed three of three passes for 68 yards and a touchdown.  Tyven McWhorter caught three passes for 81 yards and a touchdown.  Bry Berezowitz added two receptions for 16 yards.  Davonte Robinson led the defense with seven solo and eight assisted tackles.  Bry Berezowitz added seven solo and seven assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards.  Will Oreston recorded five solo and five assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.

Jefferson Harkless led Dunbar’s ground game with 2012 yards and a touchdown on 38 carries.  Tre Homer completed two of five passes for 13 yards.  Dontell Brown caught two passes for 15 yards.  Braxton Edge led Dunbar’s defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss.  Carter Hayslett added four solo and seven assisted tackles.  Quinton Dixon recorded three solo and six assisted tackles.  DeRante Sanders added two solo and six assisted tackles.
