Woodford County coach Scott Hundley started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Keenon Laine, 6-2 So. Keagan Stromberg, 6-3 Sr. Colton McCrady, 5-11 Sr. Michael Shelton, and 6-0 Sr. Zac Blaydes. West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-4 Sr. Brooks Ely, 6-3 Jr. Siah Holifield, 6-4 Sr. Dalton Crouse, 6-0 Jr. Camron Seater, and 6-0 Sr. David McCorvey.
Woodford County defeated West Jessamine by a score of 63-43. Woodford County shot 51.9% from the field including seven of 18 from the three point line. The Yellowjackets missed their only free throw, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 16 West Jessamine turnovers. West Jessamine shot 30.8% from the field including five of 21 from beyond the arc. The Colts connected on six of 10 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored nine points off 11 Woodford County turnovers.
Keenon Laine led Woodford County with 17 points including three three point baskets and five rebounds. Michael Shelton also scored 17 points and pulled down five rebounds. Keagan Stromberg chipped in with 11 points. Colton McCrady recorded six points, 10 rebounds, and three blocked shots. Zac Blaydes pulled down six rebounds and dished out eight assists.
David McCorvey led West Jessamine with nine points. Brooks Ely added eight points including two three point baskets. Dalton Crouse recorded seven points, 11 rebounds, and three blocked shots.
