Lexington Christian Academy coach Nick Cann started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Hayley Strunk, 5-7 Fr. Payton Rogers, 5-9 Sr. Claire Panter, 5-6 So. Sydney Weeks, and 5-6 8th Grade Grace Combs. Lexington Catholic coach Scott True countered with 5-8 Sr. Rachel Blake, 5-9 Jr. Sarah Bonn, 5-9 Sr. Caroline Lynch, 5-5 Sr. Bailey Browning, and 5-7 Jr. Caroline Osbourn.
Lexington Catholic defeated Lexington Christian Academy by a score of 56-32. Lexington Catholic shot 47.9% from the field including six of 17 from the three point line. The Lady Knights connected on four of seven free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 15 LCA turnovers. LCA shot 25% from the field including eight of 22 from beyond the arc. The Lady Eagles did not attempt a free throw, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 10 Lexington Catholic turnovers.
Sarah Bonn led Lexington catholic with 13 points including three three point baskets. Caroline Lynch added 12 points. Rachel Blake recorded seven points, six rebounds, and four steals. Bailey Browning chipped in with seven points, eight assists, and three steals. Caroline Osbourn pulled down seven rebounds.
Sydney Weeks led LCA with 13 points including three three point baskets. Grace Combs added 12 points on four three point baskets and four steals. Hayley Strunk recorded five points, 10 rebounds, and four assists.
