Boyle County coach Greg Edwards started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Kalin Bottoms, 5-8 Jr. Marlee Smith, 5-10 So. Emmie Harris, 5-5 Jr. Allison Hall, and 5-6 Fr. Danielle Roney. Madison Central coach Robert Cooksey countered with 6-0 So. Mallie Cornett, 5-10 So. Lindsey Johns, 5-9 Sr. Ravin Cain, 5-5 Jr. Emily Willoughby, and 5-8 So. Kasi Schneid.
Boyle County defeated Madison Central by a score of 54-50. The score was tied four times and there were five lead changes in this game. Boyle County shot 28.1% from the field including five of 20 from the three point line. The Lady Rebels connected on 17 of 21 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 20 Madison Central turnovers. Madison Central shot 41.9% from the field including two of nine from beyond the arc. The Lady Indians connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 13 Boyle county turnovers.
Emmie Harris led Boyle County with 32 points, five rebounds, and six steals. Kalin Bottoms added nine points, eight rebounds, and four steals. Danielle Roney pulled down eight rebounds.
Lindsey Johns led Madison Central with 27 points, six assists, and three assists. Ravin Cain added 10 points and 11 rebounds. Mallie Cornett recorded seven points and six blocked shots.
