Eastern coach David Henley started the following lineup: 6-6 Sr. Cameron Reed, So. Jon Lane, 6-8 Sr. Trey Moses, 5-10 So. Sugar Wyche, and 6-0 Jr. Kobey Jones.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-3 Jr. Leander Ridgeway, 6-1 Sr. Colby Barnes, 6-5 Jr. Jordan Houston, 6-0 Sr. Felix Wilson, and 6-1 Jr. Isaiah Tisdale.

Eastern defeated Henry Clay 74-72 in overtime.  There were eight lead changes and nine ties in this game.  Eastern shot 50% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 17 of 28 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 16 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 45.3% from the field including five of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on 19 of 25 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 Eastern turnovers.

Cameron Reed led Eastern with 23 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, five assists, and three steals.  Trey Moses added 19 points, eight rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Sugar Wyche and Kobey Jones chipped in with 14 and 11 points respectively.

Isaiah Tisdale led Henry Clay with 23 points including 11 of 14 free throws, five rebounds, and seven assists.  Felix Wilson and 5-9 Sr. Dakhari Campbell added 12 and 10 points respectively.  Wilson also dished out five assists.  Colby Barnes recorded nine points and seven rebounds.
