Sayre vs. Anderson County (Boys)

Sayre coach Robert Goodman started the following lineup: 6-3 So. Jake Duby, 6-2 Jr. Jack Henderson, 6-7 Sr. Quinn Pergande, 5-11 So. Robbie Goodman, and 6-3 Sr. Alex Webb.  Anderson County coach Glen Drury countered with 6-2 Jr. Andrew Mitchell, 5-11 Fr. Cobe Penny, 6-3 Jr. Dylan Harper, 5-8 Sr. Josh Brown, and 5-9 Sr. Austin Cummins.

Anderson County defeated Sayre by a score of 76-53.  Anderson County shot 50% from the field including nine of 18 from the three point line.  The Bearcats connected on 19 of 27 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 17 Sayre turnovers.  Sayre shot 38.6% from the field including three of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Spartans connected on 16 of 25 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 14 Anderson County turnovers.

Cobe Penny led Anderson County with 24 points including three three point baskets.  Austin Cummins added 18 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, and four steals.  6-0 So. John Paul Garmon chipped in with 11 points and four steals.

Jake Duby led Sayre with 28 points and four rebounds.  Robbie Goodman added 11 points including seven of 10 free throws.  Quinn Pergande pulled down 10 rebounds.
