Warren Central coach William Unseld started the following lineup: 6-5 Jr. Jared Savage, 6-4 Sr. Kolbe Caldwell, 6-3 Sr. Chris Amos, 5-9 Jr. Damani Walker, and 6-0 Sr. Tracy Hampton. Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-3 Sr. Isaiah Johnson, 6-2 Sr. Hines Jones, 6-4 So. Cooper Watts, 5-10 Sr. Jamel Banks, and 6-2 Sr. DJ Jenkins.
Scott County defeated Warren Central by a score of 82-64. There were six lead changes and nine ties in this game with Scott County pulling away with a 29-20 advantage in the third quarter. Scott County shot 43.3% from the field including seven of 15 from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on 17 of 26 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 20 Warren Central turnovers. Warren Central shot 41.7% from the field including five of 14 from beyond the arc. The Dragons connected on 19 of 25 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 10 Scott County turnovers.
DJ Jenkins led Scott County with 28 points, six assists, and three steals. Isaiah Johnson added 14 points and four rebounds. Cooper Watts chipped in with nine points and seven rebounds.
Kolbe Caldwell led Warren Central with 16 points. Jared Savage added 14 points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots. Tracy Hampton chipped in with nine points. Chris Amos pulled down eight rebounds.
