Christian Academy of Louisville coach Chad Carr started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. David Scott, 6-2 Sr. Logan Jones, 6-4 Sr. David Ashby, 5-10 Jr. Gregory Frist, and 5-11 Sr. Jake Hollinsworth. Lexington Christian Academy coach Nate Valentine countered with 6-7 Sr. Matt Rose, 6-5 8th Grade Kyle Rode, 6-4 Sr. Benton Nighbert, 6-0 Sr. John Stein, and 6-2 Jr. Trevor Hill.
Lexington Christian Academy defeated Christian Academy of Louisville by a score of 71-41. LCA shot 44.6% from the field including seven of 19 from the three point line. The Eagles connected on 14 of 19 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 13 points off nine CAL turnovers. CAL shot 22.7% from the field including three of 11 from beyond the arc. The Centurions connected on 18 of 30 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 10 points off nine LCA turnovers.
Trevor Hill led LCA with 24 points including four three point baskets. Kyle Rode added eight points and seven rebounds. Matt Rose recorded seven points, six rebounds, three assists, and three blocked shots.
David Scott led CAL with 11 points. Gregory Frist added nine points.
