Scott County vs. Harrison County (Girls)

Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 5-8 Jr. Bailey Hawkins, 5-8 Fr. Peyton Riddle, 5-10 Fr. Sydney Southerland, 5-2 8th Grade Juliette Smith, and 5-5 So. Britney Ward.  Harrison County coach Kim Furnish countered with 5-10 Sr. Whitney Gray, 5-9 Jr. Madison Philpott, 6-0 So. Taylor Reffett, 5-5 Jr. Kayla Ford, and 5-5 8th Grade Madison Kellione.

Harrison County defeated Scott County by a score of 62-49.  Harrison County shot 43.5% from the field including five of 11 from the three point line.  The Fillies connected on 17 of 30 free throws, pulled down39 rebounds, and scored nine points off eight Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 33.3% from the field including two of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on nine of 22 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 12 Harrison County turnovers.

Madison Philpott led Harrison County with 19 points and 10 rebounds.  Taylor Reffett added 16 points and 11 rebounds.  Whitney Gray chipped in with 10 points.

Juliette Smith led Scott County with 15 points, five rebounds, and three steals.  5-7 8th Grade Maaliya Owens led nine points.  Sidney Southerland recorded seven points and five rebounds.
