West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Brooks Ely, 6-3 Sr. Daulton Peters, 6-5 Jr. Dalton Crouse, 5-11 Sr. Landon Adkins, and 6-0 Sr. Will Henderson.  Somerset coach Jeff Cothron countered with 6-2 Jr. Austin Coomer, 6-2 Jr. Tyler Dishman, 6-3 Sr. Ryan Dishman, 5-10 Sr. Cam Cheuvront, and 6-1 Jr. Chandler Purcell.

West Jessamine defeated Somerset by a score of 69-57.  West Jessamine shot 55.8% from the field including three of 13 from the three point line.  The Colts connected on eight of 10 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 12 Somerset turnovers.  Somerset shot 34.5% from the field including seven of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Briar Jumpers connected on 12 of 18 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored eight points off nine West Jessamine turnovers.

Brooks Ely led West Jessamine with 19 points, five rebounds, and three steals.  6-3 Jr. Rashawn Jackson added 18 points and eight rebounds.  Daulton Peters chipped in with 11 points.

Ryan Dishman led Somerset with 20 points including three three point baskets.  Chandler Purcell added 12 points including three three point baskets and pulled down six rebounds.  Tyler Dishman recorded 11 points, six rebounds, and four assists.
