Lexington Catholic coach Scott True started the following lineup: 5-8 Jr. Rachel Blake, 5-9 Sr. Caroline Lynch, 5-10 Sr. Hannah Gadberry, 5-3 Jr. Bailey Browning, and 5-5 Sr. Suzanne Miller.  Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 5-9 Sr. DaiJia Ruffin, 5-6 Sr. Raven Merriweather, 5-11 So. Maggie Colley, 5-5 Jr. Ashley Johnson, and 5-4 Jr. Gretchen Samsel.

Sacred Heart Academy led 23-11 after the first quarter and was never threatened in a 61-46 victory over Lexington Catholic.  Sacred Heart shot 45.8% from the field including four of eight from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on thereof four free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 17 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 32.6% from the field including one of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on 17 of 19 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored seven points off 12 Sacred Heart turnovers.

DaiJia Ruffin led Sacred Heart with 26 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists. Ruffin was 13 of 19 from the field.  Raven Merriweather added 20 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and three steals.

Rachel Blake led Lexington Catholic with 19 points including 11 of 11 free throws.  Suzanne Miller added 13 points and Caroline Lynch chipped in with six points and 10 rebounds.
