Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Scott Chalk started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. Eric Trigg, 6-5 Sr. E.J. Floreal, 6-7 Sr. Taylor King, 5-10 Sr. Mike Smith, and 6-1 Jr. Donnie Lewis.  LCA coach Brad Carter countered with 6-5 So. Matt Rose, 6-2 Sr. Taylor Blair, 6-4 Sr. Jon Lannertone, 5-10 Sr. Tyler Harville, and 5-10 So. Drew Schacht.

Paul L. Dunbar defeated Lexington Christian Academy by a score of 89-59.  Dunbar shot 54.5% from the field including four of 14 from the three point line.  The Bulldogs connected on 13 of 27 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 18 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 38.3% from the field including eight of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on 15 of 28 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored seven points off 11 Dunbar turnovers.

Mike Smith led Dunbar with 21 points.  Eric Trigg added 16 points and 13 rebounds.  E.J. Floreal recorded 16 points and 11 rebounds.  6-3 Sr. Jamal Adu Peasah added 14 points.

Tyler Harville led LCA with 16 points including four three point baskets.  Matt Rose added 12 points and 11 rebounds.
