Male  vs.  Bryan Station (Boys)

Male coach Larry Miller started the following lineup: 6-5 Jr. Steven Julian, 6-3 Jr. Jaelin Brasher, 6-6 So. Will Parker, 6-1 Sr. Darryl Lambert, and 6-1 Sr. Josh Stoner.  Bryan Station coach Mike Allen countered with 6-3 Sr. Larry Morton, 6-2 Sr. Kenyon Hipps, 6-3 Sr. Tyler Smith, 6-0 Jr. Jordan Henry, and 6-1 Jr. Marcellous Washington.

Male trailed 37-36 after three quarters but rallied to defeat Bryan Station by a score of 64-55.  Male shot 52.4% from the field including five of 12 from the three point line.  The Bulldogs connected on 15 of 15 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored nine points off eight Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 32% from the field including seven of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Defenders connected on 16 of 21 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 14 Male turnovers.

Josh Stoner led Male with 26 points including three three point baskets and six rebounds.  Darryl Lambert added 18 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists.  Steven Julian chipped in with 11 points and six rebounds.

Marcellous Washington led Bryan Station with 19 points including four three point baskets.  Larry Morton added 13 points.  Tyler Smith pulled down seven rebounds.

Male (64) – Julian 11, Brasher 0, Parker 7, Lambert 18, Stoner 26, Horne 2.

 

Bryan Station (55) – Morton 13, Hipps 4, Smith 5, Henry 4, Washington 19, Walker 3, Hunter 3, Allen 4.
