West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Tanner Richards, 6-3 So. Rashawn Jackson, 6-4 Sr. Chase Fain, 5-10 Jr. Landon Adkins, and 6-3 Jr. Daulton Peters. Danville coach Andrew Zaheri countered with 6-3 Sr. Devonta Alcorn, 6-1 Sr. Alex Burnside, 6-4 Sr. Damir Karapandzic, 5-11 Jr. Jawan Grey, and 5-11 Sr. Christian Gateskill-Fuqua.
Danville led 47-44 after three quarters but West Jessamine outscored the Admirals 15-4 in the final quarter to earn a 59-51 victory. West Jessamine shot 32.7% from the field including four of 14 from the three point line. The Colts connected on 21 of 28 from the free throw line, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored seven points off eight Danville turnovers. Danville shot 38% from the field including two of 15 from beyond the arc. The Admirals connected on 11 of 21 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 15 West Jessamine turnovers. Danville was plagued with foul woes tonight as Burnside and Karapandzic fouled out with Gateskill-Fuqua, Grey, and Alcorn finishing the game with four fouls each.
Rashawn Jackson led West Jessamine with 16 points including two three point baskets. Daulton Peters added 15 points and 11 rebounds. Tanner Richards chipped in with eight points and six rebounds. 6-0 Jr. Will Henderson also scored eight points. 6-2 Sr. Robby Irgang recorded six points and eight rebounds.
Christian Gateskill-Fuqua led Danville with 16 points including two three point baskets. 6-3 So. Cody Woolridge added eight points and Devonta Alcorn recorded seven points, 13 rebounds, and three blocked shots.
