Ballard coach Carl White started the following lineup: 5-8 So. Claire Simmons, 5-7 So. Kiarah Carney, 6-2 So. Naria Reed, 5-4 Jr. Cameryn Austin, and 5-5 Sr. Shania Beason.  Bullitt East coach Chris Stallings countered with 5-9 So. Bullitt East led 17-8 at the end of the first quarter on their way to a 61-47 victory over Ballard.  Bullitt East shot 39.3% from the field including eight of 16 from the three point line.  The Lady Chargers connected on nine of 20 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 20 Ballard turnovers.  Ballard shot 29.8% from the field including seven of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bruins connected on 12 of 19 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 18 Bullitt East turnovers.

 

Lexi Taylor led Bullitt East with 13 points, nine rebounds, and three assists.  Emmy Ralph added 13 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and two steals.  Cori Etherton recorded nine points on three three point baskets and three steals.  Amber Higdon chipped in with six points, four rebounds, and two steals.

 

Shania Beason led Ballard with 14 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  Kiarah Carney added 13 points including three three point baskets and three rebounds.  Cameryn Austin recorded seven points, six rebounds, and two steals.

Christian Academy of Louisville led 40-38 after three quarters but Eastern rallied in the final quarter to earn a 49-43 victory.  There were six lead changes and five ties in this game.  Eastern shot 33.9% from the field including three of 17 from the three point line.  The Lady Eagles connected on four of seven free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 17 CAL turnovers.  CAL shot 32.6% from the field including eight of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Centurions connected on seven of 14 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 15 Eastern turnovers.

 

Mikayla Kinnard led Eastern with 24 points and 15 rebounds.  Brea Mishler added 10 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and three steals.  Hunter Wright recorded four points and 11 rebounds.

Mercy Academy outscored Assumption 28-5 in the second quarter on their way to a 67-42 victory.  Mercy Academy scored 34 points off 31 Assumption turnovers and recorded 18 steals.  Mercy Academy shot 43.5% from the field including three of 11 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on 24 of 37 free throws and pulled down 32 rebounds.  Assumption shot 33.3% from the field including three of seven from beyond the arc.  The Rockets connected on 13 of 19 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 15 Mercy Academy turnovers.

 

Hope Sivori led Mercy Academy with 15 points, three rebounds, four assists, and five steals.  Regan Berger also scored 15 points.  5-6 Jr. Sydney Rivette recorded 13 points.  Taziah Jenks added nine points, eight rebounds, two assists, and four steals.

Bullitt East led Sacred Heart 23-21 at halftime but Sacred Heart buoyed by a 24-13 advantage in the third quarter earned a 60-49 victory.  Sacred Heart Academy shot 35.2% from the field including five of 20 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 17 of 21 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 20 Bullitt East turnovers.  Bullitt East shot 33.3% from the field including six of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Chargers connected on 15 of 18 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and did not score off seven Sacred Heart turnovers.

 

Kristen Clemons led Sacred Heart with 13 points including 11 of 12 free throws, 10 rebounds, three assists, and five blocked shots.  Grace Berger added 13 points and eight rebounds.  Kiki Samsel recorded 12 points on four three point baskets and five steals.

 

Lexi Taylor led Bullitt East with 11 points including six of seven free throws and six rebounds.  Emmy Ralph added 10 points including five of six free throws.  Amber Higdon recorded nine points, five rebounds, and two assists.  Cori Etherton also scored nine points on three three point baskets.

Sacred Heart Academy defeated Nelson County by a score of 68-53.  Sacred Heart Academy shot 48.2% from the field including three of 10 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 11 of 12 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 30 points off 26 Nelson County turnovers.  Nelson County shot 54.3% from the field including five of 11 from beyond the arc.  They attempted 21 fewer shots (56-35) from the field than Sacred Heart Academy.  The Lady Cards connected on 10 of 13 free throws, pulled down 18 rebounds, and scored seven points off 14 Sacred Heart turnovers.

 

Kristen Clemons led Sacred Heart with 13 points and eight rebounds.  Kia Sivils added 12 points on six of eight attempts from the field.  5-6 So. Tyonne Howard hit a shot in the lane with 26 seconds remaining on the clock to allow Manual to take a 37-35 lead and George Rogers Clark was unable to get any of their shots to fall in the closing seconds ensuring the victory for Manual.  There were 11 lead changes and three ties in the game.  DuPont Manual shot 31.8% from the field including four of 15 from the three point line.  The Lady Crimsons connected on five of 13 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored eight points off 20 George Rogers Clark turnovers.  George Rogers Clark shot 34.3% from the field including six of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cards connected on five of 10 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 15 Points off 14 Manual turnovers.

Sacred Heart Academy shot a sizzling 70.8% from the field in the second half including seven of eight from beyond the arc in a 77-30 victory over DuPont Manual.  Sacred Heart Academy shot 52.5% from the field including 12 of 20 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on one of five free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 11 DuPont Manual turnovers.  Manual shot 23.9% from the field including two of 11 from beyond the arc.

 

5-6 So. Erin Toller led Sacred Heart Academy with 19 points including four three point baskets and four rebounds.  Ashlee Harris added 15 points including three three point baskets.  Grace Berger recorded nine points, five rebounds, and five assists.  Kristen Clemons chipped in with six points and eight rebounds.  Kia Sivils added six points, eight rebounds, and four assists.

 

Jaela Johnson led Manual with seven points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and two assists.  Aniah Griffin added seven points and four rebounds.

Mercer County led Male 33-32 at halftime but pulled away in the second half to earn a 66-50 victory.  There were six lead changes and two ties in the game.  Mercer County shot 30% from the field including 13 of 34 from the three point line.  The Lady Titans connected on 17 of 20 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 16 Male turnovers.  Male shot 31% from the field including one of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 13 of 18 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 15 Mercer County turnovers.

 

Seygan Robbins led Mercer County with 19 points including three three point baskets, six of six free throws, five rebounds, six assists, and two steals.  Lexy Lake added 15 points on five three point baskets.  Emma Davis recorded 12 points and 14 rebounds.

 

Cameron Browning led Male with 14 points, nine rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Ciaja Harbison added 13 points, three rebounds, and three assists.  Joelle Johnson recorded nine points, 11 rebounds, and three assists.  5-6 8th Grade Kynidi Striverson also scored nine points.

Sacred Heart Academy came out blazing hot today and totally dominated Mercer County by a score of 83-48 to avenge an earlier loss.  Mercer County was playing their fourth game in three days and could never get their offense untracked tonight.  Sacred Heart Academy shot 58.2% from the field including six of 17 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 13 of 16 free throws, pulled down 13 of 16 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 18 Mercer County turnovers.  Mercer County shot 30.2% from the field including seven of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Titans connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored six points off 12 Sacred Heart Academy turnovers.

 

Grace Berger led Sacred Heart Academy with 23 points, five rebounds, and three steals.  Kristen Clemons added 16 points, 10 rebounds, and five blocked shots.  Kiki Samsel recorded 11 points including three three point baskets and six assists.  5-5 So. Erin Toller chipped in with eight points and six rebounds.  Ashlee Harris also scored eight points.
