Kentucky coach Mike Harper started the following lineup: 6-2 Erin Boley, 5-10 Emma Young, 6-2 Sarah Price, 5-9 Malaka Frank, and 5-9 Whitney Creech.  Indiana coach Rick Risinger countered with 6-0 Jackie Young, 6-0 Lindsey Corsaro, 6-1 Ae’Rianna Harris, 5-3 Lauren Dickerson, and 5-10 Tyasha Harris.

 

Indiana scored 31 points off 22 Kentucky turnovers and totally dominated after halftime in a 106-69 victory.  Indiana shot 45.3% from the field including five of 23 from the three point line.  They connected on 23 of 33 free throws, pulled down 63 rebounds, and held a 45-20 advantage in bench scoring.  Kentucky shot 31% from the field including nine of 28 from beyond the arc.  They connected on eight of 13 free throws, pulled down 49 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 14 Indiana turnovers.

 

Jackie Young led Indiana with 30 points, 12 rebounds, three blocked shots, and five steals.  Lindsey Corsaro added 12 points and eight rebounds.  5-11 Kristen Spolyar also scored 12 points.  Lauren Dickerson recorded 10 points and dished out four assists.  6-4 Emily Sullivan chipped in with four points, six rebounds, and four blocked shots in 11 minutes of play.

 

Erin Boley led Kentucky with 27 points including three three point baskets and 11 rebounds.  5-7 Mikayla Berry added 14 points including three three point baskets.  Emma Young recorded nine points on three three point baskets, four rebounds, and three assists.  Whitney Creech also scored nine points and pulled down four rebounds.

Indiana controlled the boards tonight and raced out to a 53-33 halftime lead on their way to a 106-84 victory over Kentucky.  Indiana shot 51.2% from the field including six of 21 from the three point line.  They connected on 12 of 16 free throws, pulled down 61 rebounds, held a 25-13 advantage on second chance points, and scored 13 points off 14 Kentucky turnovers.  Kentucky shot 38.2% from the field including 11 of 24 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 21 of 32 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 13 Indiana turnovers.

 

6-0 Eugene German led Indiana with 20 points and six rebounds.  Joey Brunk added 16 points and 14 rebounds.  Kyle Guy recorded 14 points, four rebounds, and seven assists.  CJ Murphy also scored 14 points.  6-7 Brachen Hazen chipped in with 12 points and six rebounds.  6-5 Damien Jefferson also reached double figures with 10 points.  6-2 Dru Smith added six points and eight rebounds.

 

Carson Williams led Kentucky with 17 points and seven rebounds.  Quentin Goodin added 11 points, four rebounds, and five assists.  Mason Faulkner also scored 11 points.  6-0 Trey Blevins recorded nine points on three three point baskets.

Indiana coach Indiana coach Rick Risinger started the following lineup: 6-0 Jackie Young, 6-0 Lindsey Corsaro, 6-1 5-11 Kristen Spolyar, 5-3 Lauren Dickerson, and 5-10 Tyasha Harris.  Kentucky coach Mike Harper countered with 6-2 Erin Boley, 5-10 Emma Young, 6-0 Justus Martin, 5-7 Mikayla Berry, and 5-9 Whitney Creech.

 

The Indiana All-Stars completed the sweep with an 81-62 victory over the Kentucky All-Stars.  Kentucky Miss Basketball Erin Boley aggravated a hip flexor in the first half and was limited to only 10 minutes of action and two points today.  Indiana shot 40.8% from the field including three of 17 from the three point line.  They connected on 16 of 23 free throws, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 26 Kentucky turnovers.  Kentucky shot 31,5% from the field including six of 21 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 10 of 20 free throws, pulled down 57 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 14 Indiana turnovers.

 

Indiana Miss Basketball Jackie Young led Indiana with 22 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  Lindsey Corsaro added 18 points including eight of eight free throws, four rebounds, and four steals.  5-10 Cameron Onken recorded nine points and four rebounds.

 

Mikayla Berry led Kentucky with 17 points including four three point baskets.  Whitney Creech added 15 points and four rebounds.  6-2 Sarah Price recorded seven points and eight rebounds.  5-9 Malaka Frank chipped in with seven points and seven rebounds.

Indiana will attempt to complete the sweep today with only eight players on the roster.  Eron Gordon is enrolled at Seton Hall, Tucker Blackwell is out with an ankle injury, Kyle Mallers has graduation on Sunday, Kyle Guy is leaving for college (Virginia), and CJ Walker is leaving for college (Florida State).

 

Indiana coach Stacy Meyer started the following lineup: 6-6 Tremell Murphy, 6-5 Desmond Bane, 6-10 Joey Brunk, 6-0 Eugene German, and 6-2 Dru Smith.  Kentucky coach Wayne Breeden countered with 6-6 Carson Williams, 6-3 Quentin Goodin, 6-9 Matt Wilson, 5-8 Tyrik Edwards, and 6-2 Mason Faulkner

 

Indiana completed the series sweep with a 99-96 victory but nothing came easy.  Kentucky trailed 84-65 with 7:03 remaining on the clock and actually had a three point attempt for the tie by Tyler Sharpe in the final second that failed to connect.  There appeared to be contact on the shot but to the dismay of the Kentucky fan no foul was called.

 

Indiana shot 52.2 % from the field including nine of 23 from the three point line.  They connected on 18 of 20 free throws and pulled down 39 rebounds.  Kentucky shot 50.8% from the field including 10 of 33 from beyond the arc.  They connected on eight of 15 free throws and pulled down 38 rebounds.

 

Eugene German continues to dazzle with his blazing speed and led Indiana with 34 points including four three point baskets.  German had 23 points at halftime.  Desmond Bane added 25 points including three three point baskets.  Bane was 10 of 10 from the field including three of three from beyond the arc and two of two free throws.  Tremell Murphy and Joey Brunk added 12 and 10 points respectively.

 

Mason Faulkner led Kentucky with 21 points including five three point baskets.  Carson Williams added 19 points and nine rebounds.  Quentin Goodin, 6-5 Alex Cook, and Tyrik Edwards added 14, 14, and 12 points respectively.
