Bullitt East vs. Withrow (OH)

 

Bullitt East coach Chris Stallings started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Lindsey Duvall, 5-5 Fr. Kathleen Scott, 5-11 So. Raegan Williams. Sr. Kelli Lutes, and 5-4 So. Alyssa Peak.  Withrow coach Kim Corbitt countered with 5-9 Sr. Kendrella Davis, 5-8 Sr. Jaliyah Moses, 5-11 Fr. Aja Knott, 5-3 Fr. Jerria White, and 5-7 Sr. Iesha Walker.

 

Bullitt East outscored Withrow 23-8 in the second quarter on their way to a 60-36 victory.  Bullitt East shot 45.1% from the field including three of nine from the three point line.  The Lady Chargers connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 21 Withrow turnovers.  Withrow shot 28.9% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Tigers connected on 10 of 18 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 19 Bullitt East turnovers.

 

Lindsey Duvall led Bullitt East with 24 points including 10 of 12 free throws and pulled down 14 rebounds.  Alyssa Peak added 15 points including seven of nine field goals and one of two free throws.  Kathleen Scott chipped in with 10 points.

 

Jaliyah Moses led Withrow with 15 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, two blocked shots, and three steals.  5-8 So. Ciara McGhee added nine points including two three point baskets.  5-8 So. Bria Canada chipped in with seven points.

Kiara Pankins.  Incarnate Word (MO) coach Dan Rolfes countered with 6-1 Sr. Napeesha Collier, 5-8 Jr. Ivana Easley, 6-0 Jr. Abbey Hoff, Fr. Sonya Morris, and 5-4 Jr. Katie Lacefield.

 

Incarnate Word (MO) defeated Lafayette by a score of 53-46.  Incarnate Word shot 47.65 from the field including five of 12 from the three point line.  The Red Knights connected on eight of 16 free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 21 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 45.9% from the field including three of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Generals connected on nine of 11 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 11 Incarnate Word turnovers.

 

Napeesha Collier led Incarnate Word with 19 points, five rebounds, and three steals.  Abbey Hoff added 17 points and six rebounds. 

 

Dee Givens led Lafayette with 18 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and three steals.  Ashanti Thomas added 12 points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Lataya Winn recorded 10 points including two three point baskets and four steals.

Mercy Academy outscored Rogers (OH) 17-7 in the third quarter on their way to a 59-48 victory.  Mercy shot 36% from the field including eight of 23 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on 15 of 21 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 15 Rogers (OH) turnovers.  Rogers (OH) shot 40% from the field including three of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Rams connected on five of 10 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored nine points off 13 Mercy turnovers.

 

Hannah Bewley led Mercy with 18 points including three three point baskets and seven rebounds.  Malerie Martin added 16 points including four three point baskets, five rebounds, and four assists.  5-4 Jr. Madison Woods chipped in with 11 points including six of six free throws.

 

Akienrich Johnson led Rogers (OH) with 19 points including two three point baskets and six rebounds.  Keasja Peace added 12 points, nine rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Sydney Petty pulled down seven rebounds.

North Bullitt vs. Assumption

 

North Bullitt coach David Marion started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Megan Goeing, 5-7 Sr. Rachel Badgett, 5-9 So. Lauren Deel, 5-5 Jr. Erin Dolan, and 5-7 Jr. Katie Downey.  Assumption coach Amy Siegel countered with 5-8 Sr. Cassidy Janes, 5-7 So. Kristin Olinick, 6-5 Sr. Nora Kiesler, 5-4 Jr. Sabrina Fussenegger, and 5-7 Sr. Katie Monaghan.

 

North Bullitt took advantage of 33 Assumption turnovers to score 33 points in a 55-30 victory over the Rockets.  North Bullitt shot 32.8% from the field including four of 18 from the three point line.  The Lady Eagles connected on 13 of 16 free throws and pulled down 32 rebounds.  Assumption shot 26.2% from the field including two of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Rockets connected on six of eight free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored two points off 12 North Bullitt turnovers.

 

Katie Downey led North Bullitt with 20 points including two three point baskets and four steals.  Megan Goeing added 19 points including two three point baskets, nine rebounds, and three steals.  Lauren Deel recorded 14 points on five of five from the field and four of four from the free throw line.

 

Nora Kiesler led Assumption with 12 points, 14 rebounds, and three blocked shots.

Sacred Heart Academy defeated Withrow (OH) by a score of 46-31.  Sacred Heart Academy shot 30.5% from the field including zero of 13 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 10 of 13 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 16 Withrow (OH) turnovers.  Withrow (OH) shot 28.9% from the field including three of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Tigers connected on two of eight free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored two points off nine Sacred Heart turnovers.

 

Grace Berger led Sacred Heart with 19 points and five rebounds.  Lydia Taylor added 14 points, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Ashley Johnson recorded five points, nine rebounds, and five assists.

 

Jaliyah Moses led Withrow (OH) with 15 points and nine rebounds.  Jerria White added eight points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.

Bullitt East defeated Lafayette by a score of 58-41.  Lafayette star guard Dee Givens was limited to only 4:51 of playing time as a result of an ankle injury suffered in the first quarter.  Bullitt East shot 42.3% from the field including five of 14 from the three point line.  The Lady Chargers connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 18 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 38.1% from the field including four of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Generals connected on five of 10 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored nine points off 12 Bullitt East turnovers.

 

Lindsey Duvall led Bullitt East with 17 points including two three point baskets and five rebounds.  Alyssa Peak added 15 points.  Kathleen Scott chipped in with eight points and three steals. Raegan Williams recorded seven points and seven rebounds.

 

Ashanti Thomas led Lafayette with 14 points, six rebounds, and five blocked shots.  Kiara Pankins added 13 points including three point baskets and six rebounds.

Tonysha Curry.

 

Manual led Henderson County 17-7 in the first quarter but Henderson County rallied for a 48-44 victory.  Henderson County shot 33.3% from the field including one of 11 from the three point line.  The Lady Colonels connected on seven of 14 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 27 Manual turnovers.  Manual shot 34.1% from the field including two of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Crimsons connected on 12 of 24 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 19 Henderson County turnovers.

 

DeAsia Outlaw led Henderson County with 17 points and nine rebounds.  5-7 Fr. A’Miya Hayden added nine points and six rebounds.  Kacie Wallace chipped in with eight points and four rebounds.

 

Tonysha Curry led Manual with 13 points and six rebounds.  Krystalline McCune pulled down 14 rebounds and blocked four shots.

Incarnate Word raced out to a 24-10 first quarter lead on their way to a 66-47 victory over Mercy Academy.  Incarnate Word shot 64.3% from the field including seven of 10 from the three point line.  The Red Knights connected on five of nine free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 15 Mercy Academy turnovers.  Mercy Academy shot 35.6% from the field including six of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Jaguars connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 15 Incarnate Word turnovers.

Crystal Dangerfield led Blackman (TN) with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and three steals.  Jazz Bond added 12 points, seven rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Alex Johnson recorded 11 points, nine rebounds, and two blocked shots.

 

Akienrich Johnson led Rogers (OH) with 11 points, six rebounds, and three steals.  Brelynn Hampton-Bey added 10 points, six rebounds, and three steals.  Keasja Peace chipped in with eight points, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Sydney Petty recorded six points and eight rebounds.  Tanaya Beacham also pulled down eight rebounds.

Elizabethtown defeated Riverdale (TN) by a score of 77-64.  Elizabethtown shot 52% from the field including five of 11 from the three point line.  The Lady Panthers connected on 20 of 24 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 16 Riverdale (TN) turnovers.  Riverdale (TN) shot 38.9% from the field including four of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Warriors connected on 18 of 29 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 19 Elizabethtown turnovers.

 

Erin Boley led Elizabethtown with 28 points and 12 rebounds.  Jada Stinson added 14 points and four assists.  Reauna Cleaver recorded 11 points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Rachel Warden added 10 points, seven assists, and three steals.

 

Antasia Hayes led Riverdale (TN) with 25 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, and three steals.  Brinae Alexander added 12 points.  Caroline Patrick chipped in with 11 points.  Alex Whittington recorded nine points, eight rebounds, and three steals.
