Kentucky led by 17 points in the first half and sealed the victory with two three point bombs by Ashton Feldhaus late in the game.  Indiana suffered a loss when dominant inside player Stephanie Mavunga went out with a knee injury three minutes into the game.  Kentucky was missing Becca Greenwell who is recovering from knee surgery.

 

Kentucky was 30 of 62 from the field including 12 of 25 from beyond the arc, 12 of 22 from the free throw line, and pulled down 31 rebounds.  Indiana was 30 of 65 from the field including four of 20 from beyond the arc, 14 of 22 free throws, and pulled down 47 rebounds.

 

Ashton Feldhaus led Kentucky with 20 points including six three point baskets.  Makayla Epps added 17 points, 10 assists, and seven rebounds.  China Dow, Kyvin Goodin-Rogers, and Larryn Brooks each recorded 11 points.

 

Bridget Perry led Indiana with 19 points.  Ally Lehman added 10 points and eight rebounds.  Taya Reimer also scored 10 points.  Rhagen Smith and Dakota Weatherford each scored nine points.

Indiana totally dominated Kentucky tonight in all aspects of the game in a record-setting performance.  Kentucky was hampered by injuries to Darryl Hicks and JackWhitman and a fatigued Dominique Hawkins and Derek Willis who had two workouts with UK Friday morning.  Indiana was 44 of 74 from the field including 13 of 22 from beyond the arc, 13 of 18 free throws, and pulled down 51 rebounds.  Kentucky was 19 of 61 from the field including two of 19 from beyond the arc, 20 of 23 free throws, and pulled down 23 rebounds.

 

V.J. Beachem led Indiana with 22 points on nine of nine from the field including four of four from beyond the arc.  Bryson Scott, Zak Irvin, Clay Yeo, and Devin Davis added 14, 14, 12, and 10 points respectively.  Davis also pulled down 10 rebounds.

 

Derek Willis and Dominique Hawkins led Kentucky with 18 and 13 points respectively.

Despite the loss of Stephanie Mavunga in the first game with an injury Indiana utilized their powerful inside game to earn the victory tonight.  Indiana was 35 of 74 from the field including five of 18 from beyond the arc, 25 of 31 free throws, and pulled down 50 rebounds.  Kentucky was 27 of 74 from the field including 11 of 32 from beyond the arc, 21 of 29 free throws, and pulled down 42 rebounds.

 

Bridget Perry led Indiana with 23 points.  Taya Reimer added 19 points and 10 rebounds.  Ariana Simmons recorded 14 points and six assists.  Rhagen Smith also reached double figures with 11 points.

 

Makayla Epps led Kentucky with 23 points.  Larryn Brooks added 19 points and China Dow chipped in with 17 points and eight rebounds.  Taylor Porter added 13 points including three three point baskets.  Ashton Feldhaus was effectively shadowed by the Indiana defenders after connecting on six three point baskets last night did not attempt a shot in over 25 minutes tonight.

Indiana completed the sweep over Kentucky tonight despite a heroic 33 point performance by Dominique Hawkins.  Indiana was 33 of 69 from the field including 10 of 23 from beyond the arc, eight of 13 from the free throw line, and pulled down 48 rebounds.  Kentucky was 26 of 70 from the field including eight of 29 from beyond the arc, 17 of 23 free throws, and pulled down 38 rebounds.

 

Devin Davis led Indiana with 19 points and 11 rebounds.  Zak Irvin added 16 points including four three point baskets.  Bryson Scott chipped in with 14 points.

 

Dominique Hawkins led Kentucky with 33 points including three three point baskets.  Ken-Jah Bosley added 14 points and Derek Willis recorded 12 points and nine rebounds.
