Christian Academy of Louisville (14-7) vs. Lexington Catholic (21-4)

CAL Coach Don Rice started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Clair Buchanan, 5-10 Jr. Hannah Bowman, 6-1 So. Antonita Slaughter, 5-8 So. Allison Karst, and 5-7 Sr. Brooke Willoughby. Lexington Catholic Coach Jeff Hans countered with 5-11 Sr. Meagan Donnelly, 5-11 Sr. Natalie Novosel, 6-0 Sr. Lauren Conrad, 5-9 Sr. Briana Green, and 5-9 Jr. Maggie Wilson.

Lexington Catholic defeated Christian Academy of Louisville by a score of 62-56. The victorious Lady Knights got a big effort off their bench as they held a 24-2 advantage in bench scoring. They also enjoyed a 21-12 advantage in three point points.

Lexington Catholic shot 42% from the field including seven of 20 from the three point line. The Lady Knights connected on 13 of 23 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 15 CAL turnovers. CAL shot 45.8% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc. The Lady Centurions connected on eight of 15 free throws, grabbed 33 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 13 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Briana Green led Lexington Catholic with 19 points including three three point baskets. Green also pulled down seven rebounds. Natalie Novosel added 13 points and 13 rebounds. 5-10 Jr. Shaneque McGhee chipped in with 10 points. Danielle Corbett recorded nine points on three three point baskets. Brooke Willoughby led Christian Academy of Louisville with 17 points including three three point baskets. Clair Buchanan added 13 points and 10 rebounds. Hannah Bowman chipped in with 11 points. Antonita Slaughter recorded seven points, six rebounds, and four assists.
