Lexington Catholic (25-2) at Assumption (18-5) 

Lexington Catholic coach Jeff Hans started the following lineup: 5-11 Jr. Natalie Novosel, 5-9 So. Maggie Wilson, 6-0 Sr. Kellie Cash, 5-8 Jr. Briana Green, and 5-7 Sr. Keyla Snowden.  Assumption coaches Bob and Martha Todd countered with 6-1 Jr. Lauren Huter, 5-11 Sr. Kelsey Smith, 6-0 Sr. Thia Gholson, 5-8 Sr. Eileen Kennedy, and 5-6 Sr. Amanda Stovall.

Lexington Catholic defeated Assumption 58-50 despite being dominated on the boards 38-23 and being outscored 11-3 on second chance points.  Assumption led 13-12 after the first quarter but Lexington Catholic outscored the Rockets 37-21 in the second and third quarters to take a 49-34 lead entering the final period.  The Rockets outscored Lexington Catholic 16-9 in the final period to cut the final deficit to eight points 58-50.

Lexington Catholic shot 54.1% from the field including six of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 12 of 16 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 14 Assumption turnovers.  Assumption attempted 22 more shots than Lexington Catholic but only connected at a 33.9% rate including six of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Rockets connected on four of nine free throws, grabbed 38 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 17 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Assumption held an 11-0 advantage in bench scoring.

Keyla Snowden came up big for Lexington Catholic with 29 points.  Snowden was 10 of 16 from the field including five of eight from beyond the arc and four of five from the free throw line.  Natalie Novosel added 11 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and five steals.

Thia Gholson led Assumption with 12 points and 10 rebounds.  Lauren Huter added 11 points and nine rebounds.  Amanda Stovall chipped in with eight points and six rebounds.
