Scott County (14-1) at Bryan Station (11-4)

Scott County coach Billy Hicks started the following lineup 6-4 Jr. Tyler Portwood, 6-3 Jr. Cam Hundley, 6-7 Jr. Jordan Lee, 6-4 Jr. Bud Mackey, and 6-3 Sr. Matt Walls.  Bryan Station coach Champ Ligon countered with 6-3 Sr. Stefan Lewis, 6-1 Sr. Courtney Embry, 6-5 Sr. Jaron Jones, 6-2 Jr. Shelvin Mack, and 5-10 So. Montell Morones.

Scott County led Bryan Station 46-42 at halftime but outscored the Defenders 30-16 in the third quarter on their way to a 99-85 victory.  Scott County connected on seven three point baskets during their third quarter run.  Scott County led 76-58 entering the final quarter but Bryan Station rallied to pull within eight, 91-83, but could not catch the Cardinals.

Scott County shot 60% from the field including nine of 17 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 24 of 29 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 11 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 48% from the field including six of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Defenders connected on seven of 16 free throws, grabbed 35 rebounds, and scored nine points off 14 Scott County turnovers.  Bryan Station held an 18-8 advantage in second chance points and enjoyed a 24-8 advantage in bench scoring.

Matt Walls led the victors with 28 points including four three point baskets.  Walls added four rebounds and seven assists.  Bud Mackey added 27 points and five rebounds.  Tyler Portwood chipped in with 16 points including four three point baskets and six assists.  Jordan Lee recorded 12 points, seven rebounds, and four blocked shots.

Shelvin Mack led Bryan Station with 26 points, seven rebounds, and six assists.  Stefan Lewis added 19 points.  6-3 Jr. Terrell Combs recorded 13 points and six rebounds.  6-3 Jr. Dacoby Burnett also reached double figures with 11 points.
