Sayre (17-6) vs. Henry Clay (18-8)

Sayre coach Gene Kirk started the following lineup:  6-2 Jr. Trae Cunningham, 5-11 Sr. Chris Scott, 6-2 Sr. Bush Gess, 5-10 Sr. Will Campbell, and 5-7 Jr. Dee Smith.  Henry Clay coach Kirk Chiles countered with 6-4 So. Aaron Boyd, 6-2 Sr. Aaron Miller, 6-4 So. Victor Moses, 5-11 Jr. Chase Minnifield, and 6-2 Sr. Aaron Dunaway.

Henry Clay held a 41-23 advantage in rebounds and enjoyed a 34-6 advantage in second chance points in a 76-64 over Sayre.  Sr. Aaron Dunaway made his last regular season appearance for Henry Clay memorable as he lit up the scoreboard for 32 points including six of 11 from beyond the arc.

The Blue Devils shot 47.8% from the field including six of 15 from beyond the arc.  Henry Clay connected on six of nine free throws and scored 15 points off 11 Sayre turnovers.  Sayre shot 46% from the field, including four of 15 from the three point line.  The Spartans connected on 14 of 15 free throws, and scored 10 points off 13 Henry Clay turnovers.

Aaron Dunaway led Henry Clay with 32 points, nine rebounds, and three assists.  Victor Moses added 24 points and 13 rebounds.  Aaron Miller chipped in with nine points and four assists.  Aaron Boyd only scored four points but he pulled down 10 rebounds.  Chris Scott led four Sayre players in double figures with 23 points.  Dee Smith, Trae Cunningham, and Will Campbell added 12, 11, and 10 points respectively.  Bush Gess added eight points and pulled down seven rebounds.
