Practice home fire drills and have an escape route for your family.
Have a meeting place outside.
Remember never play with matches or cigarette lighters.
If your clothes catch on fire,
STOP , DROP & ROLL
If you see a fire tell a Adult.
If you wake up and smell smoke or see a fire, crawl to your door
and feel it with the back of your hand to see if it is hot.
If it is hot DO NOT open it. Go to a window
and a Firefighter will rescue you.
If it is cool, open your door, stay low and
crawl outside and go to your meeting spot.
Tell someone to call 911 and do not go back inside for anything.
CALL 911 WHEN YOU HAVE A EMERGENCY!!!
911 IS NOT A TOY, CALL ONLY IN AN EMERGENCY!

If you see him or her do not be afraid.
They are there to help you.
Never hide under the bed or in a closet.
It makes it hard to find you.
