PAW RESULTS FOR 04/10/00
April 10, 2000: A day that will live in the history of wrestling. Why you ask? Well, some may say for the new Russo-Bischoff era of Nitro. Some will say for the first Flair-Douglas match in history. Otheres for Hogan putting over Billy Kidman. But, my friends, the real reason will be because a young, undersized wrestler named Tabu, whom no one ever even thought would win a match, won the PAW Hardcore title in a 3 way dance. This day also saw The Rob succesfully defend his heavyweight title against the Nemesis, as well as the heel turn of the Bandit. Read on for details of the matches:

Triangle Elimination Match for The Hardcore Title
Tabu vs. Homicide vs. Bandit
The match started with all the men in the ring, but chaos soon broke out. Bandit executed some impressive manuevers, while Tabu was generally taking a beating. At about the 5 minute mark of the match, Bandit hit neckbreaker on Tabu, and appeared to have him eliminated, when out of nowhere appeared PAW Heavyweight Champion, The Rob. He blasted Bandit with a chair shot to the back, and a seemingly unconscious Tabu rolled his arm on top of the prone Bandit to score the first pinfall and eliminate Bandit. Homicide, who had been hit with a foot to the face after trying his death penalty manuever on Tabu, then moved to the offensive. The two went into the yard, and proceded to exchange chairshots. Homicide then went to the wheelburrow, and tried to run over Tabu. However, he missed, and Tabu nailed Homicide with a baking sheet. Tabu then executed a bulldog on the chair, but Homicide still kicked out. Tabu then did a modified version of Jeff Jarrets "stroke" manuever onto the chair, and Homicide was finished. There was a huge celebration as Tabu accomplished what many believed was impossible, and realized his dream of being a champion.
Winner, and NEW HARDCORE CHAMPION: Tabu

PAW Heavyweight Title Match
The Rob vs. Nemesis
The start of the match saw Rob do a duck-under into a belly-to-back suplex on Nemesis, which almost resulted in the quickest pin in PAW history. However, Nemesis powered out, and the match continued. Rob tried to execute a headlcok hiptoss, but it was blocked, and Rob was sent to his back in pain. Nemesis then did a jumping leg drop that nearly decapitated Rob. However, Rob was able to go on, and battled back with two clotheslines. On the third however, Rob was met with a clothesline shot from Nemesis that sent him spinning. Nemesis then did a powerbomb on Rob, which appeared to nearly break his neck. However, Rob fought the pain and continued. He hit a version of The Rock Bottom on Nemesis, then went to the top rope to do a flying elbow drop. However, Nemesis wouldnt stay down, so Rob resorted to hitting him with the belt, but it still wasnt enough to stop the awesome Nemesis. Rob then tried a scheap shot, and fled to the outside. There, a weight bench was waiting for him, and he jumped off of that into a double axe-hnadle on Nemesis. Nemesis then blocked a barrage of the Rob's punches, and planted him with a body slam into the mulch. Both men then stepped back into the ring, and Rob shot for the leg of Nemesis and flipped him back over him, almost like a Kurt Angle suplex. Nemesis got up however, and went for a clothesline. However, being aware of this, Rob ducked, and referee Chris Clay was sent tumbling down by the fist of Nemesis. Rob then proceded to attack Nemesis and got the advantage. Then Bandit came out, seemingly to help his real-life brother, The Nemesis. He confronted Rob, holding the baking sheet, while Nemesis was getting to his feet. Bandit then sent shockwaves through the foundation of PAW as he blasted his own brother with the sheet, knocking him nearly unconscious. Rob then did a leg-drop while Chris Clay was woken up by Bandit. Clay counted to three, and Rob retained the PAW World's Heavyweight Championship. After the match, Rob and Bandit proceded to assault Nemesis, as well as Chris Clay, until the Nemesis ran to safety in the back. The show ended with Rob proclaiming himself once again, "The Public Access Icon," and the Whole F'n Promotion."
