Disclaimer: Puck, Oberon, Titania and Avalon belongs to Disney and Shakespeare. Talyus and Ordeysia are mine. Ask before you use them. Don't worry. I'll probably say yes.
It would be in the best interest if you read Incipere, Orinoco Flow and Rightful Ruler first. If you don't, you're going to be mighty confused.
She would never let go. She was too scared. She once again put her lips over his. She wrapped her arms tighter around him and he returned the grip. Gods how she was frightened. She felt tears run down her cheeks which made her kiss him only harder. It was too much for her though. She pulled back and cried. She hated this. It had been three days since Talyus had arrived but it had felt like three weeks.
"Don't cry. Oh please don't cry." He gently rubber her shoulder. He knew she was terrified of all the fighting, worse the fighting was with iron and the Fay were dropping like flies. He kissed her again and again. Unfortunately her tears wouldn't stop. He gently wiped them away.
"Please stop crying. Nothing'll happen. We'll be fine." She nodded her head and quickly wiped the rest of the tears. She kissed him and pulled on his toga. He put his hands on her shoulders but refused to take off the toga. He may be called at any moment. He wouldn't have time to dress. She laid back pulling him with her. She tugged at his toga again and he shook his head. They laid there, kissing, but in both minds fear played like first graders on a playground. Avalon was at war. Talyus had returned to Avalon with a group of his men and with a large armory full of iron weapons. Most were falling quickly at Talyus' hands but Puck and Ordeysia had been hiding from the war. They spent their days comforting and kissing each other. A group of Fay were going to leave for the mortal world in a few days and Puck was going to make sure Ordeysia was going to be on it. He didn't care if he was on it. As long as Ordeysia was safe he would be all right. She began to slip her toga off but Puck quickly slipped it back up her shoulder. Ordeysia pulled away.
"We may be killed at any moment. Why stop me?"
"I may be called at any moment, I won't have time to get dressed." Ordeysia stood and wrapped her arms around herself.
"Puck I love you more than anyone could imagine. We could die at any moment because of that thing out there. You're not going to be called."
"How do you know?"
"Cause I went through Titania's files. You're not. You weren't in there. Please Puck, love me." Puck stood and wrapped his arms around her.
"I love you but.."
"The skiff leaves tomorrow. There is only tonight left Puck. We could be killed between then, you might, might be called. If I get on that boat, you could be killed. Puck I..." how could she say the words. The words she had been dying to say. "I want...I want to...I..." voice don't fail her now, "I want to...um..." why was this so hard? It should be easy for her. "I want to carry...your...Puck let's have kids!" said Ordeysia with a burst of energy. Puck's eyes went wide.
"Do you really?" Ordeysia nodded. Puck looked into her eyes.
"I'm not ready." He blurted out. Ordeysia's face went solemn.
"I'll always love you Puck. The world wouldn't be able to live without you." Puck put Ordeysia's head to his chest and he gently brushed out her hair.
"I know. I know."
He looked her over. She looked strong enough. Her force, the power, the energy that came from her was strong as well. The strength he felt from her would be enough for anyone to say yes but he still wasn't sure.
"What if a fellow soldier was injured?"
"I would let the nurse take care of him, sire." He nodded. She'd be perfect.
"All right. I want you out on the field this afternoon."
"Yes sire." Replied Ordeysia.
Puck looked at the wall and then turned around.
"I was suppose to be called! Not you! Ordeysia, you are going to be on that skiff tonight." Puck said angrily. He couldn't believe this. Nothing was going right.
"Puck I'll be on the skiff but until then I've gotta go fight. I don't like it any more than you do but I have to." Answered Ordeysia using the one voice that she all most never used. She was serious. Puck ran up to her and kissed her a passionate and heated kiss. She returned it for a few moments and then pulled away.
"I've gotta go. I'll be on the skiff tomorrow night. Keep calm while I'm away." That had become a normal saying between the Fay. Puck nodded and Ordeysia disappeared, blue-violet light following her.
The field was filled with dead Fay. Each one had some sort of iron weapon in them. Ordeysia would have to build up all her courage and strength if she were to live through this. She and her comrades looked at the hill a few feet from them. They waited until finally Talyus' men came over it. There were hordes of them each carrying four iron weapons. Ordeysia wanted to run but she kept her feet firmly planted. Were these magical creatures? If so she could use her possession spell and take a bit of their magic for her own use. She had given Puck that power four days ago when he had battled Oberon. Men came closer. Ordeysia closed her eyes to center her energy. She was sure she could deliver a forceful blow if she concentrated. They were now just a couple yards away and then feet. Ordeysia felt the ball of energy grow bigger until it couldn't contain itself. She grabbed bits and pieces of magic from the others around her. They grew confuse at this loss as Ordeysia grew stronger. She could wipe out her opponents if she was just a little stronger. A few more bits of energy and she had reached the maximum. They came closer and then Ordeysia released the huge mass of energy, force, and magic. Over half of their enemies fell to the ground, dead. The other half lay severely injured. The Fay, amazed, jumped over the protective barrier and attacked those who had not been hurt by the blow Ordeysia had dealt to them. The Fay had won that battle but Ordeysia wasn't so sure they would win the others.
When she arrived back at the house Puck engulfed her in what seemed the biggest hug she had ever received. He held her hair and smelled it, felt her toga and tunic, and finally held her hand.
"I'm fine. All though I'm not sure about the others."
"Why? What happen?"
"I gathered all my energy and killed the enemy with it."
"What?"
"Remember how Oberon couldn't shoot at you back at the palace? I gave you my power. I seem to have this power where I can gather energy, force, power, magic, and then shoot it at people. It depends on the force. If it's strong I can kill. Weak I can injure." Puck was amazed at hearing this. He could've killed Oberon if he had directed the right force at him. He wrapped his arms around Ordeysia's waist.
"Well my love, you are good for something."
"Robin!" Puck's eyes went serious at the hearing of his true name.
"You know I'm good for lots of things!"
"I'm always joking my love." replied Puck, still a bit angry at the sound of his name. Ordeysia kissed him quick.
"I know. As with Robin, I am always joking."
"The one joke I detest."
"Live with it buddy." answered Ordeysia as she set herself on the ground. She was tired!
She didn't like the looks of things. A woman who looked all most human, save the wings and feet was sitting in the corner. A man walked around the small hut holding a purple bundle. The man had wings and gargoyle feet like his mate. They both looked like they were in their twenties. Ordeysia tried to peer into the bundle but the man wouldn't let her.
What is her name? Ordeysia tried to ask.
Organa Ortessa. answered the woman.
Oriana, my dear, give her your name.
Organa Ortessa Oriana.
Ora. said the man.
How's this then? Organa Ortessa Octavia Olivia Olympia Ora Oriana Omega Melodie Melanie.
Perfect my love. Simply beautiful.
It meets for a beautiful child.
Ordeysia was confused. That was her name. Of course the Organa and Ortessa were messed up and it was missing Ordeysia, but other than that it was her name. She looked out the window and saw a small child-like creature hovering near the window.
Come in Robin! called the woman. The boy Robin entered the room.
See our child. She is beautiful. Robin nodded. Ordeysia had a strange feeling she knew him.
What shall I call her? he asked.
Ortessa for short. Her real name is too long. Robin flew over to the bundle.
Hello Ortessa, my apprentice. I am most pleased to have one at this time. You will learn all the things you will need to entertain our lady. The bundle gurgled.
Robin, leave now. I fear something will arrive. We need not to see you.
Robin nodded and left. Ordeysia looked outside. A green mist was coming towards the house. The man and woman were huddling in the corner trying to hide the bundle. Ordeysia woke up.
She looked around. Puck was gone. She hated that dream, a dream that had plagued her mind for what seemed like eternity. She got up and stretched and looked around. Tonight she would have to get on the skiff. She wanted to see him one last time. So where was he?
"Puck. Long time no see." Said a tall lengthy Fay.
"Hi Orion," Puck said with distaste. He didn't trust Orion at all but now was not a time to think. He trusted this Fay with Ordeysia's life.
"What can I do for ya?"
"Safe passage for Ordeysia. I mean safe in every way. The moment someone touches her, kill them, do whatever, but if she calls me and says something bad happened to her, your life will be on the line." Orion nodded.
"It's gonna cost ya buddy. Promise me something." Puck looked at his gold wrist bracer. He could always get another one. He took them both off.
"Solid gold," said Puck as he passed the bracer's to Orion, "They'll get you plenty of anything." Orion looked at the bracers and tried them on. They fit perfectly. Orion was impressed.
"Hey, with this she'll get free passage, the best meals, and a cabin."
"But the skiff's don't have cabins."
"We're going to use a boat instead. We'll probably get bombed if we use a skiff. With a boat they'll think we're mortals just passing by."
"Thank you Orion."
"Hey Puck, aren't you coming too?"
"I'm staying to fight. Besides, I can't defy Oberon again. He asked me to stay. If Ordeysia lives and I die, I'll be happy. I can't let anything happen to her."
"She ain't…" Orion trailed off. Puck shook his head.
"I'm not ready. She respects that." Orion gave a slight chuckle.
"You're not ready? Ha! Usually it's the girl that's not ready."
"Whatever." Said Puck staring at the ground.
"Straight passage, free. Hey Puck,"
"What?"
"Breathe deep, seek peace. We don't need two wars on Avalon." Puck smiled.
"Breathe deep, seek peace Orion."
Ordeysia relaxed for a moment against the boulder. Brekeny laid next to her. Both were out of breath.
"What do you think? We're going to beat them?" asked Brekeny.
"I don't know. Perhaps." Said Ordeysia as she smiled.
"Could you throw another energy ball at them?"
"Not this time. I'm too tired and there's too many of our warriors out there."
"You're going on the skiff tonight aren't you." Commented Brekeny as he smoothed out his breeches.
"Yes."
"Ordeysia, will you remember me in the mortal world?"
"Yes."
"Promise?" asked Brekeny putting out his hand. Ordeysia gripped it and shook.
"Promise."
He held her hand as they ran through the forest. They could've easily transported themselves to the docks but Puck wanted to spend every last minute with Ordeysia.
They reached the ending of the forest. They saw the ship at the docks and fay getting onto it. Puck turned to Ordeysia, who was smiling. Puck held her hands.
"I love you Ordeysia."
"I love you too Puck." The smile slowly wiped away from her face. Puck slid his hand down her cheek and brushed back some of her hair.
"I'll miss you."
"Come with me." Ordeysia said, eyes bright, smile wide.
"I'd love to but I can't. I have to stay here and fight." Ordeysia nodded. Puck's face fell and he lowered his hand. He placed his hand on Ordeysia's stomach.
"If I die I want you to remarry. Have children. Remember me." Ordeysia shook her head no as Puck raised his head. Puck placed a finger on her lips.
"For me." Ordeysia nodded.
"Hurry up! We're leaving!" cried Orion from the docks. Puck turned his head towards Ordeysia. She forced her lips onto his and the passion that went through them was like fire spreading through a forest. Puck released the kiss and let Ordeysia slide out of his grip. She boarded the ship as Puck watched from the forest.
"Good-bye my love."
