Rightful Ruler

Disclaimer: Everyone here belongs to Shakespeare. Well OK, Titania, Oberon, the Weird sisters, and Puck would also be considered under Disney. Ordeysia is mine! Use her but tell me. Everyone else belongs to Shakespeare and his stories.

If you haven't read Incipere or Orinoco Flow it'd be best to read those first or else you might be clueless about some of this stuff.

"Ordeysia I swear the next time I see Oberon..." his sentence was quickly cut short as Ordeysia's lips pressed against his. Cobweb and Moth's eyes went wide and they started to giggle.
"Sweetheart I know. You've been complaining about Oberon for weeks now." said Ordeysia fixing his shirt she had just wrinkled.
"He's treading on thin ice Ord! He's making fun of Titania, my family, my tricks! Ordeysia I..."
"Puck we know! We know he's treading on thin ice. Titania will end up doing something and then we'll all be fine. Relax." Cobweb and Moth's giggling was joined by Mustardseed.
"You three! Hush! Now!" snapped Ordeysia. The three quickly placed their hands over their mouths and were quiet.
"What happens if Titania doesn't do anything?" asked Puck.
"Well you could always fight Oberon and take over Avalon." Eyes and mouths went open all over as this was suggested.
"Ordeysia you're crazy! That is highly impossible! I'd be killed before I even challenged him!" cried Puck.
Ordeysia put her face close to his and whispered,
"There's a group of us that believe you should be rightful ruler of Avalon. They're willing to do anything to help." She went closer, their noses touching, he could feel her breath on his lips. Their lips just touching each other.
"They're even willing to give up their own powers for you." she whispered. Puck's eyes went wide again. Give up their own powers just because they think I should be rightful ruler of Avalon?! thought Puck. He saw Ordeysia bite the inside of her lip. Anyone could always see it. Her lip went to the side and a small or large dip suddenly appeared under her lip. She was scared, nervous, and hopeful.
"I'll think about it." Ordeysia broke into a smile and her eyes went happy. Mustardseed, Moth, and Cobweb's eyes and mouths went wide with amazement. Puck looked at the three.
"Don't tell anyone." he said to them. The three nodded their head in unison. He looked back at Ordeysia who was still smiling as if he had said yes. Puck smiled uneasily with her.
"But it's not an instant yes so don't tell everyone." Warned Puck.
"Don't worry. I won't. Besides if we want to keep a surprise attack on Oberon we have to keep it secret." Said Ordeysia , her voice turning more child like than usual.
"Ord! Promise me you won't go around thinking I've said yes."
"Well..."
"Ordeysia Ortessa Organa Octavia Olivia Olympia Ora Oriana Omega Melodie Melanie Moore I want your solemn oath that you will not!"
"You don't have to yell my whole name out. Gee. Anyway I promise."
"You swear it!"
"I swear it."
"Your solemn oath."
"Good glory Puck! How's this then; I, Ordeysia Ortessa Organa Octavia Olivia Olympia Ora Oriana Omega Melodie Melanie Moore, solemnly swear and promise that I will not say Robin,"
"Use Puck!"
"That I will not say that Puck is rightful ruler of all Avalon until he gives me permission to do so. That's even a mouthful for me!" Hob joined Cobweb, Moth, and Mustardseed on their little log and watched as the two argued.
"Why ya got such a long name?" asked Hob.
"I don't know, but it is kind of fun to say once in a while with all those O's in it." Said Ordeysia beginning to hover again.
"Too long." Said the four pixies shaking their heads. Ordeysia shrugged and turned to look back at Puck but he had gone while she was talking to the pixies. Always him to disappear when I want to talk.

He had built it when he was a hundred years old, for his birthday. All the pixies had helped him build it as well. The walls were rocks and the roof was mud, moss, and sticks. The floor was dirt and the extremely small cottage was hidden so no one could find it. The room itself was eight feet by eight feet wide and it was 5 feet 6 inches tall. Just enough room for him to sit down cross-legged and think. Thinking was what he really needed to do now. Should he go against Oberon so he could be the ruler? Or should he forget about it. Forgetting about it would be the hardest. Ordeysia would remind him of every second of every day. Something he did not want. He decided that the best thing to do was to sleep on it. He could easily put himself to sleep until a dream told him what to do. Prophecy or a dream? I'll have to find out.

I wonder where he could be...ahhh! If I can't find him he must not want to be found. thought Ordeysia. She was in a meadow now. Trees surrounded everything. Grass came up to her chest. She sat down and the grass barely covered her eyes. She laid on her back and a breeze began to blow through the tall forest of grass. The pixies had lost interest in Ordeysia and had gone to the castle. Ordeysia, in her own right, was bored as well. She hoped Puck wouldn't be gone for long. Ordeysia began to think of something else. This place is boring.

He was in the void. The land where all Fay went to when they dreamed. He waited and then saw himself pop up. A double, that would tell him prophecy or a dream.
Why are you here? Asked the mirror.
You know why.
I do but I want to see if you do.
Should I go against Oberon or should I forget about it?
Go against Oberon. It is prophecy.
What of Ordeysia? Am I doing okay with her?
For now, but soon you two will be put through some hard times. Your love will be tested. She will learn about the world and you will learn to face fears. You will have to be strong for the both of you. Puck shook his head and woke up.

An arm around her extremely small waist and lips over hers. She shot out a blast and quickly stood to find Puck on the ground holding the side of his head.
"Oh! Sorry Puck! I didn't know it was you!"
"Well who else could it be?" asked Puck getting up, still holding his head. Ordeysia gave him a look of you-know-who-it-could've-been-and-you-understand-why. Puck grinned and wrapped his arms around Ordeysia again.
"I understand." He said, kissing her cheek.
"So what did you decide?" she asked, wrapping her arms around him.
"Well, I might as well. Who knows; maybe I can make a few good changes around here." Puck looked into Ordeysia's eyes.
"And your queen would be able to help and stand next to you." Ordeysia smiled seductively.
"My queen?" asked Puck jokingly. Ordeysia pressed her lips against his and let the air run out between them before pulling back.
"I don't know. Maybe I could work out something for that too." Said Puck with another grin on his face. Ordeysia crossed her arms, shook her head, and disappeared in a flash of blue light.

Puck paced as he waited for Ordeysia to return. She had probably been summoned by Titania or Oberon. Or at least that's what normally happened when she disappeared without explanation. He paced a few more steps when he finally ran into her.
"Hi!" she said cheerily. Puck put his arms around her and brushed his lips over hers.
"I always worry when you disappear like that," he said holding her a bit tighter.
"Sorry. I have no choice," as much as she hated it she lifted his arms from her waist and began to hover. "All right, now we have to decide when you are going to attack Oberon. It has to be fair and good so he won't kill you if you don't win. Also if you do win we have to think up something for him. A punishment of sorts." Ordeysia hovered around Puck.
"You're sure this'll work?"
"Uh huh. It's worked before."
"When?"
"When Oberon overthrew his mom. Mab tells me all the time. Oberon turned her into a pixie, poor girl." Said Ordeysia as she shook her head. Puck tried to calm himself as he heard this. He really didn't need to get in trouble with Oberon. As Ordeysia explained how they should attack Oberon, Puck reviewed things in his mind, previous and future. Oberon had treated him pretty nicely in the past but a lot of times weren't so nice. He didn't know. His mind was confused and with Ordeysia talking a mile a minute she wasn't helping either. He needed more time to think; needed to concentrate on something else. All he wanted to do was go away, but going away while Ordeysia talked was an extremely bad idea. Finally though she had stopped.
"Puck."
"What?"
"You don't wanna hear, do ya." Puck looked into her eyes. He really didn't. Only three things were going through his mind, and Ordeysia could only fill one. He shook his head no in reply and Ordeysia smiled.
"It's all right. You're scared. Understandable. You're going up against Oberon tomorrow. Don't worry. I love you." Ordeysia disappeared. Puck had a funny feeling that something, other than this, something bigger was going to happen. It was going to put their world into a tailspin.

Ordeysia very rarely fell asleep. Her metabolism and energy level were too high to let her sleep. He body couldn't and wouldn't comprehend the idea of rest. For a sudden change she was asleep, and now that she was she didn't like it. She was dreaming about four mortals falling in love. Puck created a problem by not understanding Oberon's directions and in an end result the mortals went home happy where as Titania and Oberon were furious at each other.
"Ord, wake up." Puck said, as he gently shook her. Ordeysia opened her eyes, and when she realized it was Puck, she quickly wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I hate sleeping. It's too scary." Whispered Ordeysia.
"Then why'd ya do it?" he whispered back.
"I had no choice. My body made me." Puck knew this was unusual but said nothing.
"Time for the fight. Are you ready?" Ordeysia nodded and the two left. He'd tell her about last night's events later.

From their point of view Oberon was smiling at something someone had just said that was funny, but what any of that was Ordeysia and Puck had no idea. As Oberon turned around the smile was wiped from his face. Ordeysia gave a silent gulp as she felt the palms of her feet grow warm and a bit moist. She was terrified for her and Puck. Puck on the other hand was ready. Strange, he felt utterly calm. He felt no need to worry. The two standing next to each other looked all most like twins. Oberon stood.
"What."
"Puck has come to challenge you sire." Said Ordeysia quickly. She feared her voice would raise a few decimals but it didn't. Oberon chuckled a bit at the actual thought as he walked towards the two.
"Puck, is this true? Do you dare compete against your lord and master?" asked Oberon staring directly at Puck. Puck returned the stare, stood his full height, and said in his best voice,
"Yes." The few that were in the great hall gasped at such defiance. Ordeysia stepped to the side. It was going to get ugly. She began to hover so she wouldn't faint or fall if worse came to worse.
"Fine." Said Oberon nonchalantly as he turned. Puck was a bit confused, Ordeysia knew exactly what was happening, and Oberon quickly turned and shot a force of green light at Puck. Puck flew back a few feet and grabbed the side of his head. It felt like the same force of power Ordeysia had shot at him earlier that day. Ordeysia closed her eyes tight. Puck stood and shook his head. Oberon began to shoot another force of light when Puck put his hands in front of him and shot a larger force of power. It hit Oberon's at light speed, turned Oberon's force around and hit the king of Avalon. Puck tried to keep the grin from his face as Ordeysia gently began to open her eyes. Oberon staggered at the hit and shot twice the force at Puck. Puck dropped to the floor and the power hit the wall and created a large gap in the once beige south wall. Puck let out a huge gasp of air as Oberon leapt forward and landed a forceful blow to Puck's lower jaw. It was Puck's turn to stagger back. With his right arm he held his jaw as he threw his left at Oberon. Oberon's left caught his as his right connected with Puck's left eye. Puck felt as the pain began to swell around the injured spot. That was going to hurt for a while. Puck brought up his knee and jabbed it into Oberon's lower stomach. Oberon doubled over slightly at the pain. Puck brought down his right elbow to connect with Oberon's neck. Oberon doubled more as Puck threw his left elbow into his back. Oberon's fists hit the ground as he tried to catch his breath. This would be a little harder than he thought. Puck stood back to let his lord rise. That had felt good! To put all his tension into his master. To make him feel what stress Puck had, had all week. Oberon stood and looked at Puck as if he were ready to give up. Puck felt a little worried by this; unfortunately it didn't last. With fists filled to the brim of power, strength, and fire Oberon banged them against Puck's temples. Puck cried out at the hit. His head hurt that no force could comprehend. Puck quickly dropped to the ground. Oberon stepped on his back. Puck felt the wind rush out of him. He was going to die. Ordeysia screamed. It was a scream of pain. The scream all of Avalon knew. It was filled with sadness and of hurt. She was now standing in the air, her hair flying wildly in the gush of wind that had come in, her eyes were a bright blue violet. Everyone in the hall looked at her. Eyes and mouths went wide. All except Oberon's. Ordeysia opened her mouth and the magic power was shot at Puck. The power lifted him as it wrapped around his body. It disappeared inside of him. He had been regenerated. Puck smiled and shot a large blast of power at Oberon. Oberon felt a prickly feeling run through his body, then it was suddenly lifted. Oberon fell to the ground as Puck hit him again and again with the same force. Finally Puck stopped and Oberon rose. Oberon tried to shoot at Puck with his own power but nothing came. No warm feeling or blazing hot energy. Nothing at all. It was as if...as if he were mortal. Ordeysia lowered herself to the ground. Puck walked up to Oberon.
"Truce?" asked Puck. Oberon stared at Puck wildly. How was this possible?! Oberon nodded, stunned. Titania walked into the great hall. The gap in the south wall healed itself. Ordeysia walked over to the woman.
"Ordeysia, why have you done this?" Ordeysia kneeled before Titania and lowered her head.
"My lady, I merely gave Puck the idea. It was his idea to follow it. I am deeply sorry."
"Rise my child. This has only begun. I'm afraid to say that Talyus has returned." Oberon turned around.
"Has he brought his men? His weapons." Asked Oberon. Everyone saw the fear that played in his eyes. Titania nodded.
"We are doomed."
