Wedding Bells Story # 4

After Christmas, everything went back to normal. Abby started her last 
semester that January. The time was going by so slow for her.
Her father would catch her staring at calender for long periods of time. 
He would always tell her
"Water doesn't boil if watched." Puck and Abby's relationship had gone
 from friendly to severe. They had there fights but they never lasted more than a day. 
Time began to quicken(as it always does).Before Abby knew it, it was May. The day 
before she graduated from college was going to be rough. Abby awoke
to feel the remains of a stomach virus creeping up on her. After "make 
friends with the toilet," she decided to get some toast.
On her way to the kitchen she passed her father's office. Peeking in 
she could see Owen working at the computer,while her father
looked at some files. No matter how hard Puck tried he couldn't just 
let Owen go. When he was Puck, Owen would pop up now and then.
Fox was in the kitchen trying to feed Alex. More food was on Fox than 
in Alex's mouth. Fox turned to see Abby giggling."Hi Abby. Are you ok? 
You look pale." 
"I still think I have that stomach virus."
"Sorry. What are your plans today?"
"Well, I'm done with my finals. Which reminds me to give Hudson a kiss 
for his help. So, I have to wait until tomorrow morning to graduate.
I have to go pickup my cap and gown at 1. Then at 4 grandpa is coming 
in. I think that's it."
Fox smiled,"it seems only yesterday that he was here for Christmas. Is 
he still carrying his shotgun."
Abby bite a piece of toast,"Yup. At the New Years Eve party, when Puck 
went to kiss me. His eyes widened and he just hugged me. I turned to 
see Grandpa hide his shotgun under his coat. I made it up to Puck that night." 
Abby raised her eyebrows in a playfully way.
Fox made a face,"I didn't need to hear that." They both began to laugh.
"What time is it?"
Fox looked at her watch, wiping baby food,"11:30. Why?"
"Maybe the doctor can see me. I think I may have food poisioning."

After making the appointment, Abby went to her room to get dressed. If
she hurried she could get her cap and gown and make it to the doctor's office.
She got to the college office around 12:45. Mr. Boyle, her history teacher, waved to her
He opened the door to let her in."Abagail, what are you doing here so early? 
You really want to leave us that quickly?"
Abby grinned,"NO, I have a doctor's appointment in 20 minutes."
Mr Boyle looked worried,"Anything serious?"
"Oh no, I think I got food poisioning from the senior BBQ."
Mr. Boyle laughed,"It seems to be a tradition with the cooks. To see how 
sick they can make the graduates sick."
They laughed,"Here you go, Abby." He handed her a blue gown and cap. "See
 you tomorrow."
"Thanks, Mr. Boyle." Abby hugged him good-bye. Mr. Boyle called to her,"Abby! 
If you were wondering you got an A on your final."
Abby smiled. As she walked to her car she noticed she was skipping.

Abby looked at the doctor-white ceiling above her. She hated doctors. They
took your blood, poked at you, then they disappeared for hours. Dr Fazio
entered the room. His round face and white beard made him look like Santa
Claus. His big hands were writing in her file. he put it down and began 
to speak,"When was your last stomach upset?"
"THis morning."
"When did they start?"
"About a week ago."
"UMMMM." he was still writing. There was a knock at the door and a nurse 
handed the doctor a piece of paper. He looked at it and jumped alittle. Abby was angry. 
She jumped off the table."What is going on?"
The doctor dismissed the nurse and stood up,"Ms Xanatos. We have found traces of food 
poisioning in your blood. Nothing serious, but it is a good thing that we caught it."
"That's it."Abby laughed."I thought you were going to say I was dying or 
something."
The doctor's face didn't lighten up,"There was something else we found in your blood report."
The doctor smiled,"Your pregnant."
Abby put her hand to her stomach. Breakfast was threatening to make an ap
pearence. "What?"
"According to these charts you are 5 weeks pregnant. Congrats."
Abby passed out.

"Hello, Mr Xanatos speaking. Where? When? I'm on my way!"
Owen raised an eyebrow,"What is it sir."
Mr Xanatos ran for the door,"Abby collasped at the hospital."
Owen disolved to Puck (in human attire),"Let's go!"
Dr. Fazio was waiting for them when they arrived."Mr. XAnatos...your daughter is fine." 
He lead them to a room with a window in the hall.
Puck looked in. Abby was still asleep. There was a nurse with a cold pack
on her head. Puck asked,"What happend?"
The doctor chuckled,"She pased out and gave herself a good bump on the head."
Mr. Xanatos corssed his arms,"You seem to think this is very funny?"
"Hey, usually women kiss me when they find out. Not many pass out."
Puck stood in front of the doctor,"What are you talking about?"
"She's pregnant..about 5 weeks." As the doctor started to explain Puck couldn't help but smile.
He knew exactly when she got pregnant. April Fools day would never mean the 
same. The doctor saw Puck's smile,"You must be the daddy?"
"Yeah, I am. Can I go see her?"
"Sure." The doctor opened the door. He motioned the nurse with his head to 
leave them alone. Puck sat next to Abby. He brushed her hair to see a big bruise. 
When he was sure that no one was watching he magically healed it. Abby took a deep breath 
and began to open her eyes. She looked at Puck,"Hi."
"Hi yourself." She moved to get up. she grabbed onto Puck and pulled herself into his arms.
"You better start running. When Grandpa finds out you knocked me up,
 he's going to come after you with the shotgun."
He laughed,"I think I can handle it."
"What time is it?"
"4 Why?"
"Oh shit!" She pulled herself off Puck and jumped out of the bed....gotta
 go pick up Grandpa..oh bad idea." She felt dizzy.
David opened the door and looked at Abby,"You know your grandfather is going to 
make you get married now." The doctor came in behind DAvid.
"Oh the little mother is awake. Congradulations to you both. According to
 our baby charts your baby is due on January 3."
Puck walked over to Abby,"Let's go pick up Petros." They walked to the elevator. 
DAvid put his hand on the doctor's shoulder.
"You do not know how happy you made him."

Abby was leaning against the elevator wall looking unhappy. Puck was next
 to her acting like he was afraid to touch her. He quickly turned to her,
"Can I do something that will make me feel better?"
"Sure." Abby said slowly. Puck lifted her shirt and put his hand on her s
tomach. She heard him mumble a words. There was a glow under her shirt. P
uck took his hand away. As Abby tucked her shirt back in she asked,"What 
was that?"
Puck answered in a blank voice,"It will protect you and the baby. if some
thing, Avalon forbid, happens to you that spell will heal you."
She placed her hands on her stomach,"Puck, I'm scared. I graduate tomorrow.
 I start a job in September. My grandfather is going to kill me for having 'your' child.
 I'm only 19. I'm just as bad as my mom."
SHe gasped,"What if I die, just like my mother." She felt tears forming.
Puck stopped the elevator. Without looking at her he said,"I won't let th
at happen." He looked up. He was crying."Ever!"
He tried to hold her but she jerked away. He kept trying. Finally she let
 him hold her. They just stood ther holding onto each other.

Petros knew something was up by the was Abby and Puck weren't speaking to
each other. When they got to the castle Abby showed him to his room. While 
Puck went off on his own.
"So,grandpa. How does it feel to have a college graduate for a granddaughter?"
"OK. What's going on with you and 'it'?" Abby felt a sharp pain in her stomach. 
The fetus wasn't old enough to hear yet. Could it? Between her magic and Puck's 
maybe this baby had already developed to the point of understanding.
That's stupid, she thought. "Nothing. I'm just alittle sick. Food poisioning."
Petros nodded and brought out his shotgun.

The gargoyles awoke to a very upset Abby. Angela jumped down."Abby, what's wrong?" 
Abby took Angela's hand and headed towards Abby's room. Leaving
 the stunned males behind.
"You mean, when Petros was saying bad things about Puck you felt it?" she
 giggled."The baby knows who the father is already."
It brought a smile to Abby's face. "What am I going to do?"
"If it makes you feel better...Broadway and I have decided to announce th
at we are engaged."
"Congrats. When?"
"Tonight. We have until the next full moon to perform the ceremony. How long do
 humans have?"
"9 months, in our case. That is if I marry him. I'm not sure he still loves me. 
He acts so cold when I come around. Now, he acts like I'm going to
 break with his touch. 5 weeks ago he wasn't."
Abby felt her stomach. "Is it happening again?" Angela asked. Abby nodded
 She tried to describe how it felt like the love she felt when Puck and her made love. 

"I think your baby is trying to tell you that Puck will always love you. 
Maybe he's just scared?"
There was a knock at the door. Brooklyn poked his head in waving a white 
hankerchief,"Neutral." The girls laughed,"come in Brooklyn.'
He entered,"Umm.. dinner's ready." He motioned his hands towards the dining room. 
Angela nudged her,"Come on. You need to keep your strength up."
Abby hugged Angela,"Thank you."

Everyone was sitting at the table. The Xanatos's had tried to make it a evening 
tradtion to eat dinner with everyone. Abby sat to see Puck wasn't 
there yet. "Please pass the salad." Abby asked. It was enough to break the ice. Dinner 
started and everyone was talking, laughing, and eating. Alex seemed especially happy. 
he was watching Abby like a hawk.As abby put some salad on her plate, she saw 
Angela whisper something to Broadway. She knew what Angela was telling him. 
She didn't mind she asked if she could. Broadway rubbled his stomach and winked at 
Abby. Abby smiled.
She felt that feeling of love rush over her again from her stomach. It forced her to turn 
her head. There was Puck staring at her from the door. his arms were crossed as he approached the table.
Alex was laughing like crazy. Petros turned to Alex,"What is your problem, boy? What?"
Alex pointed to Abby,"Baby Puck!Baby Puck!"
Puck just stopped by Abby with his eyes wide. Abby got up and put her hands up,
"Everyone, I'm pregnant!". As she left she saw her grandfather pull
 something from under the table. Her grandfather had his shotgun out and 
was trying to kill Puck.
If it wasn't for Puck's flying ability he would have been seriously hurt.
 Abby stepped in front of Puck. puck tried to move her,"Get away."
Goliath, David, and Brooklyn were holding Petros. She approached him and 
hugged him. She could feel that loving feeling pass through her to him. He calmed 
and looked at her stomach."I haven't felt that in years." he laughed.
David put a hand on his father's shoulder,"Are you ok?"
Tears where forming in his eyes,"She has Tribeca's touch."
Everyone was confused so Petros explained,"When I hugged Tribeca when she
was pregnant with Abby I felt the same love. As the pregnacy matured I could feel
 thoughts, emotions, and singing from the baby. I actually heard
Tribeca singing once. With her voice was a little girl singing. 
I didn't know until the day Abby was born that it had been 
her singing."
Abby and Angela were looking at each other. Fox stood,"You heard the baby
When did it start?"
"About a month into the pregnacy." Abby sat down with her hand over her mouth
."Grandpa when you were bashing Puck earlier.
I felt a sad emotion within my stomach. And when Angela and I were talking about 
Puck, I felt love. Puck! I knew you were standing at the door
because the feeling made me look there."
Puck was stunned. He went over to her and hugged her. Puck pulled away,"WOW!"
Petros actually smiled at Puck,"You felt it..isn't it the best sensation?
 Wait until later, when you will hear it sing. it sounds like bells."
Abby rolled her eyes,"Oh great! Someone else to keep me awake at night." 
Everyone giggled.
Petros all excited grabbed Goliath's hand and put it in fox's. they looked at each other then
 at Petros."What are you doing?" 

"I'm letting everyone experience the love. When you two hold each other or kiss 
you are feeling the love that went into creating that baby. Someone grab Puck's hand
 and Abby's." Petros squeezed Lex's and Angela's hand.
"OK guys..kiss" Before Abby could object Puck grabbed her around the waist and 
was kissing her 'lovingly.' A pink and blue glow surrounded Abby then spread to 
everyone in the circle. The baby didn't know where mother began or ended so it 
made the complete circle.
When the glow got back to Abby everyone dropped there hands. Abby rested 
her head on Puck's shoulder,"Man, that takes all the energy out of you."
Petros walked to the couple as the others were talking about the sensation.
"Puck, I don't like you. but since you are the father of my great-grand
child i will let you live. Abby please consider marriage."
Abby lifted her hand to show her ring,"he already did."
"Before or after?"
"Before I got pregnant." Petros slapped Puck on the back,"Boy, you may get uo on
 my ok list afterall."
Puck catching his breath said,"Thanks, I think."

Angela looked at Broadway. He nodded. "Everyone we have an announcement to 
make. Broadway and I have decided to become life partners. We would be 
honored if Abby and Puck would join us in this ceremony of love."
Puck looked at Abby,"So, what do you think?"
She looked at Angela,"I think Angela and I better go." They started for t
he door. Puck yelled,"Where are you going?"
They turned around and said in unison,"To find a dress."
Puck turned to everyone,"I guess that is a yes."
"We have to go to the farm. No grandchild of mine will be married anywhere else."
"Who's getting married?" Elisa came into the dining room.
"Puck to Abby. Broadway to Angela." said Brooklyn.
"Wow, a double wedding. What happened to the table?"
Goliath spoke,"I'll tell you later. We must hurry. Gargoyle tradition states t
hat after the engagement announcement is made the ceremony must take
 place before the next full moon."
"That doesn't leave enough time for a bachelor party, does it." Puck got 
a hard look from Petros."I was only kidding. No sense of humor."
Lex scratched his head,"But how are we going to get there?"
Puck was floating in midair,"That's easy..I'll send you. At dawn, I'll send your stone
 bodies to the farm. We'll see Abby graduate. Then come up. 
Ms. Maza would you like me to arrange it that you have a couple week's vacation?"
Elisa put her hands up,"No, Puck, I think I can manage."
"Suit yourself." Puck bowed and vanished.
"I don't like that guy." Petros said making a face.

As Angela and Abby were looking at dresses online, Abby couldn't help yawning. 
Angela put her hand on Abby's back,"Maybe you should go to sleep?"
Abby blinked her eyes,"Yeah, I think I will. Goodnight Angela."
"Night Abby."

Abby reached the door to her room. She stepped inside to see Puck sitting
 in one of the big chairs rubbing his palms. He had his feet up on the windowseat.
"Puck?" she said in a yawn.
He looked up and moved over. Abby sat in the chair with him. "What are you 
thinking about?" Puck didn't answer her. He just took his hand and placed it on her stomach.
 "Oh..can I ask you a question?"
Puck looked at her,"Sure."
"Why are you acting like I'm made of glass. You seem afraid to touch me. 
You have been looking so sad since you found out I was pregnant. i thought you wanted kids?"
Puck still looking at her sad," When you have waited a 1000 years for something like 
this to happen. You kind of get jumpy when it finally does. You don't want anything to go wrong."
She yawned,"You should go to bed Abby." She kissed his forehead,"Are you coming?"
"In alittle while." Abby didn't even change her clothes. She kicked off her shoes 
and fell asleep. Puck looked up at the cresent moon. "what is wrong, my son?" The voice 
rang in his head like bells.
"I don't know. I have someone to love who,loves me. Now, I'm going to be 
a daddy. is the trixster ready to settle down?" There was a laughter of bells,
"If you think having children is settling down...you are mistaken."
Puck did a half-smile,"Thanks." The bells continues,"Has the child and Abby phased yet?"
Puck looked up,"If you mean that Abby can feel everything the baby is, yes."
"Yes." There was a chorus of diferent sounding bells now."that is good. It 
means that Abby is passing on her magic correctly. We are all watching 
her very carefully. We do not want her to end up like her mother.."
"I will too."
"We know you will Puck. We give you our wedding gifts." From the sky, a 
bunch of stars approached the room. One star became a wedding dress. It 
was made out of the moon itself. The white material shone ice blue in the 
light. There were gems all over it. Low cut in the back and front.
It was beautiful. The other stars formed to make two cribs. Silver that 
felt like cotton lined the inside. The outside of one was covered in moons
 and stars. The other was decorated in clouds and suns.
"Wait, why are there two cribs?"
"Because there will be more children." Puck grinned at that idea.
The moonmother's presence vanished. Puck crawled into bed but instead of 
laying on a pillow he laid on Abby's stomach.
Before he doze off he could hear the sound of two bells within Abby.

The alarm went off at 8Am. Abby tried to hit it but she couldn't move with
 Puck around her waist. She threw a pillow at the clock, didn't work.
She had an idea,"Hey kid, wake up daddy." Abby could feel energy move into 
Puck. He jumped up,"What's wrong?!" 

Abby hit the alarm clock. She was laughing so hard that she was crying. "
I 'laugh' told the baby to 'laugh' wake you up."
Puck looked at Abby. She was glowing."so, the kid made me think you were 
in trouble."
Abby nodded. Holding in the laughter. Puck got out of bed pretending to be hurt.
"Fine." he walked into the bathroom to turn on the shower.
Abby let the laughter out. She was joined by little bell sounds. Abby then 
noticed the dress and cribs by the window. she walked into the bathroom

She could tell by the way Puck was moving he was washing his long hair. She 
stripped down and got in. he was rinsing his hair. he opened one eye to see 
Abby standing next to him,"where did those things come from?"
"oh, last night the moonmother visited. She said they were our gifts."
"But why are there two cribs?"
Puck smiled,"Because she said there are more children."
"Oh...anything else?"
Puck thought it wouldn't be right to tell her about the moonmother watching 
her to make sure she didn't die,"No."
Puck moved so Abby could wash her hair. Sh was in a silly mood. She was 
making her hair stand up straight with the shampoo."That's attractive"
"i know..isn't it." Abby put her head under the water.
"I'm going to do something.I'll be right back." He disappeared. Abby was 
out drying herself off when Puck returned. "What did you do?"
"I sent the gargoyles to the farm."
"Why?"
"Because that's where the wedding is going to be." She laughed,"he actually got
 you to agree to do it."
Puck ignored her,"Yes, well. After the graduation I'll send Elisa, Petros
, DAvid, Fox and Alex to the farm. Then I'll come back for you two."

As they walked onto the green, where the graduation was held, Abby took Puck's hand,
"I feel stupid."
"You look great,"he whispered into her ear. She kissed him on his cheek.
The ceremony took forever. Abby won an award from Mr. Boyle for her history 
class discussion. How she always seemed to correct him when he was wro
ng. You know, her'charm.'
Abby was nervous. She was the last diploma given. The headmaster took a deep breath,
"Last but not least is a girl who has shook the Columbia University. She is only 
19 and graduating with you all today. 

It is our own Abagail Puck Xanatos. Abby went up onto the stage. All the 
teachers were crying with Abby as she hugged the headmaster. He moved away 
from the microphone. Abby stepped forward." Parents, teachers, friends,
and loved ones. Will you please stand as we..the class of 1998..turn our tassels. Everyone 
stood. The students turned their tassels. Abby raised her hands,"You are all dismissed."
In one big yell, The students through their caps in the air. Abby was hugging her friend 
Cary when Puck found her. "Puck, this is Cary."
Puck shook her hand. Cary looked at Abby."Girl you have been holding out 
on me. Puck, you are gorgeous." Puck blushed. "Abby have a good time. Call 
me when you get back. Wink Wink."
Abby laughed,"Bye."

Abby was on cloud 9 all the way to the castle. Puck turned his clothes in
to his 'natural' magic attaire. He waved a hand and everyone disappeared
(luggage and all) to the farm. Puck turned to Abby. "Are you ready?"
She held Puck's hand,"Yup." In a flash, Abby was home. Puck looke at the 
farm. It was peaceful.
Abby grabbed her bags and headed to her room. She quickly changed into he
r riding clothes. Puck was holding Alex in the kitchen when she came down
"DAd!"
"Yes!"
"I'm going to go see mom and grandma."
David emerged from the living room,"You sure you want to go now."
Abby came down the stairs with an angry look on her face,"Of course."
Puck could see the skin tight riding pants and the shirt."Maybe I should 
go?"
Abby said,"I don't mind, dad?"
"Puck go with her."
Puck gave Alex to David and morphed his clothes into riding attaire. Abby
 was already out the door. she went inside a shed next to the house. She 
came out with gardening shears.
"What are those for?"
"You'll see." Abby grabbed Puck's hand and took him around to the barn. There in a 
small patch of dirt was a rose garden. Abby knelt down and cut two roses off.
"Let's go. Do you want to ride with me?"Puck nodded. As they both opened 
the barn door and white mare neighed with happiness.
"Titania!" Abby ran and hugged the horse. "Can you take my friend and me 
to see mom?"
The horse nodded. "Come on, Puck." Abby was already on the horse. She held
 her hand to him. He grabbed it and pulled himself behind Abby. He placed his 
arms around her waist as she yelled for the horse to go.
The horse was walking through a deep forest. Puck was amazed on how much 
this place looked like Avalon. His thought were interrupted by bells.
"Do you hear it?" Abby turned her head. "yeah, what is that?" said Puck
Abby smiled,"That is your child singing. Your hand is right over it. It wants 
you to know that it likes it."
Puck leaned against Abby's back,"I like it too."
The further they went the clearer the forest became. They finally came to
a cliff, with a huge oak tree, that looked over the whole valley. As they 
approached it, Puck could see two headstones.
Abby dismounted and tied Titania to a tree. "Abby, who is buried up there?"
Abby didn't answer. She took the two roses out of her coat. She pointed to the 
left headstone,"that's my grandmother the other one is my mother." 
She placed a rose under each headstone."Puck you have to promise me something."
He put his arms around her,"Anything."
"When I die, even if we aren't together anymore, make sure I'm buried here 
next to my mother."
Puck was taked aback,"Why are you worried about that?"
She looked at him and put his hand on her stomach."That's why."
Puck shook his head,"We won't let that happen."
"We?"
"The moonmother, our child, and me."
Abby hugged him.

When they returned, the gargoyles were outside enjoying the fresh air.
"Wow, Abby. You actually grew up here?" Brooklyn said.
"Yup. So did my dad, my grandfather, and my great-grandfather. I'll be right back."
 She put Titania in her stall.
The night was full of ghost stories around the fire and even what Puck and 
Abby were going to name their kid.
Petros came out of the house,"Well,kids. Judge Mike will do the ceremony 
tomorrow night. As a favor to me."
Puck was getting nervous. In 24 hours, he would have a wife. In 8 months,
 he would have a child. Time for bed.
"Well, everyone. I'm off to bed. Goodnight."
"Goodnight Puck." Came a chorus. Then Brooklyn added,"Don't let Abby bite!"
 Puck turned just in time to see Abby, Elisa, and Angela slug Brook with a pillow.

When he closed the door, he heard the sound of magic behind him. "Hello, 
Puck." said a female voice
He turned to see Titania and Oberon standing before him. "We have come to
give you your wedding gift." Oberon said.
Titania came and touched Puck's face,"We give you the guarentee that Abby
will not die while giving birth. Her mother made the mistake of intertwining their 
spirits so she could her the baby's thoughts. When Abby was born the only 
way for her to live was to kill the mother. I have put a spell
on her so that she can not do that. She will still have the same experiences 
her mother did, but without the danger.
Puck hugged Titania."Thank you."
"Don't mention it."
Oberon put his hand on Puck's shoulder,"We also give you the power to make 
Abby an immortal. That way you will never be alone again. Even your children
 will be immortal if you do it before she gives birth.
Puck couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Thank you for your gifts. I will 
try to use them wisely."
Titania smiled,"We know you will. Good-bye Puck. Happy Wedding."
Oberon smiled,"Take care of her,"he took Titania's hand,"you never know how 
much you love them until you lose them."
They disappeared in a cloud. Puck wasn't going to think about it now. Who
 knows Abby may not want to be immortal. He fell asleep.

The next morning, Puck was woken up by a rooster that came to the window.
 He tumbled downstairs to see Abby sound asleep on the living room couch.
 He went into the kitchen to get some coffee. 

Petros and David were sitting at the table. They went silent when Puck walked in.
"What is it the ears..I can change it?"
DAvid smiled but Petros frowned,"Are my grandkids going to inherit those 
things?"
Puck crossed his arms,"Does Fox or Alex have big ears? No, so I don't think they are past on?"
Petros looked relieved. Puck thought that this was as good a time as any 
to tell Mr. Xanatos about the 'gift.' "Sir?"
"Yes, Puck."
"Um..last night Oberon and Titania came to visit me."
David's face went white,"They don't want the grandchildren, do they?"
"Oh no, but one of our gifts is a spell I have to make Abby immortal."
David and Petros just looked at each other,"Immortal?!"
Puck nodded,"They felt that since she is to become my wife....."
Petros stood,"You selfish asshole."
Puck's eyes were glowing around the edges. " Selfish. All I've done was for 
her. You know, you mortals only have to carry grief until the rest of 
your lives. I must carry it with me forever. FOREVER! You can't ever fathom
that. I have waited over 2000 years to love someone like Abby. Do you 
really think I would let her leave me.
I am going to ask her...if she wants it. She has it. Oh, by the way. Titania 
also said that Abby wouldn't die giving birth. They took care of it."
 Petros and David were silent. Puck stormed out of the room. As he walked
 upstairs he heard a cough. He looked down to see Abby standing by the kitchen
 door,"Is it true?"
Puck nodded. He throw himself onto the bed. He inhaled the sheets. They smelled 
of her. He began to think what would happen if Abby said no. He would have to 
grieve forever. How the smell of the sheets maybe the only thing left of her. 
But time would take the smell away. There would be nothing but dust. He began to cry.
 Then he felt something warm laying next to him. He looked up to see Abby.
"Please don't cry...you are making us very upset."
Puck buried his face in her chest. He knew the safety the children were going to
 feel in her arms. "Do you want to be immortal?"
She took a deep breath,"I'm not to thrilled aout watching everyone I love
grow old and die."
"But you will die too if you become immortal."
"What?"
"The spell works in different ways. In your case, you will grow old. When
 you die you shed a skin. There will be a body to bury and you will look 
just as you are today."
"This will go on forever." Puck nodded.
"And the kids?" Puck began to rub her stomach,"If I make you immortal before you give 
birth, all our children will be immortal." Abby got up,"Let me think about it."

Abby sat infront of her mother's tombstone. "Mom, what am I going to do?"
Abby felt the warmth of the sun rub her back. "Hello father sun."
"Hello, daughter. What is wrong?" After she explained the situation the sun chuckled,
"I don't see the problem?"
Abby was confused and her face showed it. "What do you mean?"
"You love him and he loves you. Do you know that the children of Oberon fall in
 love for life. Once they fall in love they expect to spend eternity with them."
"What about Titania?"
Father sun said,"Titania was married to Oberon before Fox's father. Hell,
it's why they broke up. Titania is back with Oberon now and as happy as 
ever. If you are looking for approval, you have it. By the power of the sun, the moon, 
and your mother we approve of you becoming an immortal."
She smiled,"Thank you, Father sun."
He beamed,"No problem."

David was waiting for Abby when she returned. "Abby, are you going to except Puck's 'gift'?
Abby said proudly,"yes." David nodded. Petros came down the stairs smiling. 
"What are you so happy about Grandpa?"
He showed them the keys,"I locked Puck in your room. Abby all your stuff 
is in mine. I will not let you break all the traditions. A groom is not to see the bride 
before the wedding."
Abby went up to her grandfather's room. She sat down on the bed. The phone rang. "Hello."
"Does he really think he can hold me in here?"
"Just humor him, he's old-fashion. What are you doing?"
There was silence."I'm trying on your dresses...what do you think I'm doing?
 So far I've counted 150 spots on the wall."
Abby laughed,"I did those when I was 5. I took rubber balls and dipped them in paint. 
Made a good mess. So, what are you wearing tonight?"
"It's a surprise."
"Oh come on, you know what I'm wearing."
"OK." Puck hung up. Abby hung up the phone. Puck appeared before her. He 
was wearing a suit that reminded Abby of Cinderella's prince. It was a white high collar
 jacket with silver buttons all the way down. A silver sash went from his shoulder to his 
waist. He had on white pants and shoes. Abby walked up to him and straightened his sash.
"You look like a prince out of a fairy tale."
He laughed,"You know you are very silly."
Abby wrinkled her nose,"I know." There was a loud bang. Puck and Abby went 
to the window to see what had caused it. There was a construction crew 
building a dance floor, DJ center, and putting up a huge tent. Abby could
she her grandfather looking up. She pushed Puck to the side. "Hey! Oh" he said 
after realizing why she pushed him.
Petros yelled up,"Is that long eared freak with you?" Abby held her stomach,"No!"
"Good." Petros turned and began to yell at the workers. Puck quickly went
 to her side. "Are you ok?"
Abby took a deep breath,"This baby does not like anyone talking bad about
 you."
Puck smiled,"He doesn't like your grandpa."
Abby shook her head,"it wants to beat the crap out of him."
"I think I already love this kid."

The rest of the afternoon went pretty fast. The workers got done with the
 tent right before sunset. The judge came around the same time. He met Abby and 
Puck (which they had to explain his background) and then he met the gargoyles. 

Puck was afraid that the judge may not survive the night. Petros had the 
two couples split. Puck dressed and magically put Broadway into a tux. He
 also put Angela in a simple (Goliath's orders) white dress.
Puck and Broadway were standing next to each other waiting for their wives 
to arrive. They looked at each other and said,"Women."
David and Goliath (isn't that funny : )) stood waiting for the girls. Angela was the first out. 
She took her father's arm,"I'm ready."
Abby was right behind her,"So am I." David's mouth dropped open. A tear came
 to his eye,"You look just like your mother."
As both fathers walked their daughters down the aisle, you could feel the
 happiness. Puck mouth was open when he saw Abby. Her hair was up in a fancy bun.
 A silk white veil was clipped in the back of her hair so that the veil flowed down her back. 

The dress was snug against her upper body. the cut made it that her shoulders 
were exposed. when Puck took her hand she closed his mouth,"Puck, you're catching flies."
The judge and Goliath began to speak to Broadway and Angela.
Abby looked at Puck, who was watching the other couple."Puck" she whispered.
"Hmmm?" he looked at her.
"Make me immortal."
Puck blinked quickly in surprise,"Are you sure?"
She smiled and nodded. The judge began to talk to them. As the judge approached
 the last line, Puck lifted Abby's hands and kissed them. He looked
 at the judge and closed his eyes. When he opened them they were glowing 
bright green. The judge said,You may now kiss the bride."
As Puck kissed Abby, she could feel the energy flow through her. Puck pulled away. 
he looked at Abby. She opened her eyes and they were glowing green. 
She blinked once and her eyes were normal again. He pulled her close
,"Thank you."
Abby took Puck's hand and reached for Broadway's hand, who was already holding Angela's. 
The judge yelled," Everyone meet Mr and Mrs. Gargoyle and
 Mr. and Mrs....Long ears. Everyone giggled. Puck gave the judge a dirty 
look. He shrugged,"I wasn't given a last name."
Puck said,"That's because I don't have one. I guess that makes me a Xanatos."
Petros stood up,"Over my dead body!"
"That can be arranged." Puck answered. Abby pulled him back,"We'll think 
of one later."
"LET'S PARTY!!!" yelled Brooklyn. Lex was in electronic heaven being the 
DJ. The party was great. They did the electric slde. Puck even got Petros
 to do the chicken dance with them. At one of the slow dances Petros appr
oached them,"May I cut in?" Puck gave her to him. Puck went over and opened a beer.
David and Fox came over to Puck. David asked,"so, is she immortal?" Puck 
looked at Abby,"Yup. 100%."
David looked sad,"You take care of her."
Puck laughed,"Sir, I'm not going to take her away. She will be with you for the rest of your life."
Fox smiled,"We're happy for you. We wanted to give you something special 
for your wedding." Puck picked up Alex.
"No, please. You have done enough."
"Nonsense. We are taking your four rooms and making it into a three bedro
om apartment." David said.
Puck said,"When is this going to take place?"
DAvid looked at his watch,"It has been happening since three o'clock yesterday."
Alex was alseep on Puck's shoulder,"Abby will like that." Puck rubbed Alex's back.
"You can't wait can you...for the baby?" said Fox.
Puck looked at them,"Is it that obvious?"
Puck handed Alex to Fox and went to join his wife and child.

"Are you happy?" asked Abby.
"More than you will ever know."
As they were kissing they heard two roars come from over the hill. They were from 
Broadway and Angela. Puck smiled at Abby,"looks like you wouldn't be 
the only mother-to-be in the castle."
They began to dance to the music.
