Powerful Magic is a well written novel mixing romance, magic and time-travel keeping the reader in suspense until the end. Karen presents the reader with images of magical places and real faeries intertwining the modern-day with the medival era. Soon, the reader is caught up in the fantasies and feels the magic of the love that will linger on their minds.

Megan is a modern day woman on the brink of ending her abusive relationship with her fiance` when a lighthning strike sends her back to the year 1072. There she encouters Kenric, a warrior-for-hire. He's running from his own past, in the only way he knows how. The two of them must overcome the usual obstacles to survive the magic chasing them both.

A very nice read for all paranormal fans especially if you like faeries and hunky heros.
