From The Back Of The Book:
Devyn Kell's knowledge of women, gambling, and medicine was as vast as the cosmos. But what he knew about a spaceship's maintenance system wouldn't fill a moon crater. So when irrestible Alix Garran told him that his vessel's rear stablizer was down, Devyn hired her as his engineer. while she taught him about his ship's nuts and bolts, he longer to tudor her in the mechanics of love.
Fleeing her past, Alix wanted a life free of trouble. Yet no sooner had she signed on with Devyn than they were outrunning the authorities and heading toward Paradise City, where even assassins weren't safe. But Alix didn't know what real danger was until Devyn's burning kiss awakened her restless spirit with a taste of heaven.
REVIEW:
Sherrilyn Kenyon is a great writer of futuristic romances. Her world is a viable one complete with politics, governments, dynasties and hierarchies. Her characters possess the completeness that only comes from an author who truly knows and loves the people she creates.
Devyn hires Alix to keep his ship running smoothly.
Devyn knew alot about most things but absolutely nothing about mechanics. Devyn and Alix each have secrets that could land them in big trouble, but while trying to reach Paradise City they come to love and trust each other, but will that be enough to keep them together? This book has lots of action, adventure and intrigue, enough to keep you interested till the end.
As I've stated before, the world building in a futuristic is my favorite part of the book and Ms. Kenyon certainly excells at this. This is NOT an historical masquerading as a futuristic but it has a unique world of it's own.

EXCELLENT
