Mine To Take

Title: Mine To Take

Author: Dara Joy

Publisher: LoveSpell / 1998

From The Back Of The Book:

He was full-blooded and untamable. Sensual and sinous. Erotically magnetic. A Uniquely beautiful creature who could make himself irrestible to women. And he was feral at heart. With his glittering green and gold eyes, silken hair, and purring voice, the stunning captive chained to the wall was exactly what Janise needed. And he was hers to take....Or so she believed. But she had never heard how dangerous it was to lie down with the cat.

Review:

He was Gian Ren a full blooded Familiar and Guardian Of The Mist. He had been on a hunt for his young missing relative, Dariq, when he had been captured by Oberion slavers, sold and chained to a wall. Learning of the drug that rendered Familiars helpless, he knew he must escape and return to his homeworld to warn his people. Just how he was going to accomplish this little feat he did not know, but escape he must.

Jenise was plotting an escape of her own. Since the death of her mother's mate, his brother had been obessed with Jenise and being Ruler of their Kingdom. He couldn't have both, till now. So Jenise planned her escape and those plans included Gian Ren.

The escape begins an adventure for both of them. They travel through worlds both friendly and hostile to reach safety and to warn his people of the impending danger. On the way they also discover their feelings for each other and their fate.

This is my favorite book of the series. I think it's because it has a more futuristic feel to it. I also like Gian Ren, he's a hero "to die for".
