"The Wolf Of Haskell Hall"

Title: The Wolf Of Haskell Hall

Author: Colleen Shannon
Publisher: LoveSpell / 2001

From The Back Of The Book:

Dark Urges

Forbidden desires. With the coming of the moon wild happenings disturbed the seaswept peace of Haskell Hall. And for the newest heiress, deep longing mingled with still deeper fear. Never has she been so powerfully drawn to a man as she was to Ian Griffith, with his secretive amber eyes and tightly leased sensuality. Awash in the seductive moonlight of his tower chamber, she bared herself to his fierce passions. But had she freed a tormented soul with her loving gift or loosed a demon who hunted unsuspecting women as his prey?

REVIEW:

Ian and Lil's love was cursed a hundred years ago by their ancestors. Ian is of Gypsy Blood and Lil of a highly born lord. The book started out very good with some great secondary characters, an old sea pirate, a voodoo witch and a detective researching paranormal phenomenon from witches to werewolves. I would have liked to have seen a little more development in these secondary characters but understand why this wasn't possible.

The relationship between Lil and Ian was HOT but never quite seem to jell. Whenever they were together they had sex, but there was very little "getting to know you time".

There were alot of questions left unanswered by the end of the story. Maybe they would not bother most readers but I certainly noticed the loose end that were not brought together by the end of the book. I did enjoyed the book till the very end where I was still waiting for the answers.

VERY GOOD
