This was not an easy novel to read. It has, violence, slavery, and torture. But if you are tired of the sugary sweet romances widely availible then this is a must read. A totally new concept in romance, this book crosses bountries usually avoided, which makes it such a fascinating read. This is the story of Kamerone Cree, genetically altered warrior, beast, and an unknowing pawn in the resistence movement. A tortured indivual who really has little control over his own destiny. Then there is Dr. Bridget Dunn, she was abducted from Earth, is now a slave on another planet, where she becomes a member of the resistence movement. Bridget Dunn is a heroine to be reckoned with but Kamerone Cree is the heart and soul of this story. You will fine yourself emotionally involved in his life and hopeful of his eventual triumph. If you only read one E-Book start with this one. It is a totally engrossing story and one I highly recommend.
