Will The Real Base Please Stand Up
It is Human Nature to perceive the Universe as revolving around a central point, ourselves.

I am determined

You are stubborn.

They are obstinate.

This issue comes to the front quite often in politics.

An attempt to define political purity oft assumes our own perceptions are the the touchstone with which all others are weighed.

Sometime ago I realized that a Political Party composed of Me, My Shadow and My Reflection in a Mirror would not lead to many victorious elections.

I was forced since so many of you seem to be determined to want to think for yourselves to find what common ground I might have with others.

There are some who seem to have a difficulty with this mode of thought.

They continuously focus on differences rather than similarities.

Thus we are often lectured on exactly what, is and what is not, True Conservatism or  Real Republicans.

Not that long ago that was illustrated in a comment on this website.

Comment:A brief review of past and present Iowa GOP and National Platforms would show that Iowa Republicans and the Party as a whole are solid supporters of LIFE and MARRIAGE.  Why should we support those who differ from this position simply because they want to wear a "Republican" label?  They are not in the "mainstream" of the party and if they were truly honest, might find themselves "happier" with those folks on the other side of the aisle.

On the surface that would appear to be true, leaving out the term "whole".

We also have Conservatives who are solid supporters of Fiscal Responsibility, the Constitution, Free Trade and are dead set against Socialism.

They may or may not agree on the issues of Life and Marriage to the extent this gentleman may require.

I also recall at the last County Convention an individual who was as vehement as the gentleman above on the subjects of Life and Marriage,

BUT he seemed to think that BIG GOVERNMENT was the solution to all our problems even to the extent of allowing the State to determine a Fair and Equitable distribution of Air Time on Issues.

So the question is which one is a REAL Republican?

Either?  Neither?

Does one have to stand firm on EVERY issue?

Because if we are going to Cherry Pick out of our common ideologies it is obvious that either of the two could find grounds to exclude the other.

Which brings us to the subject of excluding others.

Iowa’s Scheffler supports GOP ‘purity test’

Iowa Christian Alliance President and Republican National Committee member Steve Scheffler is among 10 co-sponsors of a resolution being circulated that aims to impose a conservative litmus test on potential GOP candidates.

The resolution, dubbed a “purity test” by the media, became public Monday. It lists 10 positions Republican candidates should support to demonstrate that they “espouse conservative principles and public policies” that are in opposition to “Obama’s socialist agenda.”

Any Republican candidate who breaks with the guidelines of the resolution on three or more of these issues would be penalized by being denied party funds or the party endorsement.

See, that is where I diverge from Mr Scheffler.  I may not agree with the results of an election, but I will fully support the right of voters to choose those who represent them.

NO Party official should have the right to withhold Party Funds from the winner of a Primary.  The Voters determine who their nominee should be.

Recently the same dubious "Not A Real Republican" charge was levied against Halley Barbor of Mississippi.  A man respected by many who obviously are also not considered REAL Republicans,

The Results?

In Des Moines County a motion to ask for his resignation.  If failed with only two votes in favor.

But in Linn County, the motion passed

Be it resolved that for his intimidation of Republicans considering and/or seeking political office, we call on Iowa's Republican National Committeeman, Steve Sheffler, to resign his position.

passed at the Linn County Republican Central Committee by a vote of 20 to 11.

Resolution introduced by William Dahlsten, Pct. 41

For some reason when I  insist that no one has the right to decide if another is a REAL Republican there as some who take affront, as if I were declaring that THEY are not REAL Republicans

They are not listening.

I don't think they have that right, I don't claim that right for myself and I reject the right of anyone else to make that decision for either of us.

I don't dispute the validity of Mr Schefflers ideals, I agree with most of them.

What I dispute is whether it is right and fitting for him to impose those on others and use his office in the RPI to punish those who do not agree with him

And it would appear by a ration of about 2:1 those who attended the Linn County Central Committee last night agree with me.

I myself did not vote.

I am an Associate Committee person, according to our By-Laws I may be heard from the floor and that I was, I did speak in favor of the motion.

But I have no vote, except in the absence of one of the two elected Committee Persons.

While one from my Precinct was absent there was another Associate Committee Person who has been attending Meetings far longer than I.

I looked them up and informed them that they should be voting.

They voted against the motion,

One gentleman who spoke against the Motion mentioned the dangers of a House divided,

That is so true, and we cannot afford to drive out of our Party Good Conservatives who do not agree with us on EVERY issue.

That is not my desire,  I do not wish to drive anyone out, nor do I wish to stand by silent, while others do.

On Which Hill?
In Battle there are many Hills to take.

The trick is which one is important?

Choose the wrong Hill and you lose the Battle.

Choose a different wrong Hill and you may win the Battle and lose the War.

It helps if you figure out when and where the War began.

Those who were around at the time, may remember the Mantra of the Sixties.
Raise the consciousness of the masses and get them involved in the political process was the clarion call.

They succeeded, but a strange thing happened on the Way to the Revolution.

You see there was an unspoken assumption.

The masses were to be awakened, involved in the political process, but they were supposed to do what their betters told them to do.

And so the Radiant Future fell to pieces on the rocks of people who stubbornly decided to think for themselves.

They were later to be called things like the Religious Right, the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy,  and other less pleasant epithets.

That is where the real Battle Lines are drawn.

Between those who wish to think for themselves and those who wish to think for everyone else followed by the sheep who want someone else to think for them.

There are many Hills and many Issues that is the one IMO that we MUST take or we lose all else.

Personal Responsibility is another phrase for Self Determination.

The Conservative Wing of American Political Thought has many Tents.

Social Conservatives, Fiscal Conservatives, National Security Conservatives and Constitutional Conservatives.

We all spend time in some, most,  if not all of those tents.

They ALL important, but I think the main lesson of the elections in recent times, NY 23, New Jersey, Kentucky, etc is that people are tired of the Political Class NOT LISTENING!

Often it is not that they think a particular issue is not important

But that they think others are not only MORE important they are VITAL.

The Liberal Left is NOT listening,

We on the Conservative side had better figure out what they REALLY want us to hear or they will reject us with the same disgust they are presently rejecting the Left.

Actually Social Issues have for some time been doing well.

The majority of the public has taken up the ideals that are most important to Social Conservatives.

That is not the issue.

Americans also want something done about Health Care.

They don't want the Liberal Plan and they DO NOT want to be continuously told how ignorant and ungrateful they are for not wanting what the Liberals are trying to cram down their throats.

But they have spoken clearly.

What they WANT is the Government to work on the Economy, REAL Job Creation, in the Private Sector, not just pouring money we don't have into Public Service Black Holes and they REALLY don't want Socialism or Government intrusion into every aspect of they lives.

They want the Constitution upheld and our Borders Secured,

Now if ANYONE goes out and campaigns on anything else?

It won't matter which side they are on, Left or Right, they will be lucky if it falls on deaf ears, but it will probably be responded to with the equivalent of rotten eggs and tomatoes.

But still we have those in our camp who can only see One Hill, and they insist that we all charge up that one or they will go home and let us fight the Battle alone.

That has been they Battle Plan In Iowa over the last generation and how has it worked out?

Well the two main political figures in this Election are Brans tad and Grassely.

Isn't that EXACTLY where the Iowa Republican Party was a GENERATION ago?

Where are all the New Republican Leaders who one would have thought should  have sprung up in the last generation?

They all died  trying to take the SAME Hill.

These folks  also seem to want to decide what we should do and think, rather than waiting for us to tell THEM via our Primary and Votes what THEY as Party Leaders should be doing.

I don't like the phrase Party Leaders I think they should  be the SERVANTS of the Party,

We are the Party they are chosen by us to implement OUR wishes.

I mentioned some of this in a previous post

 We Are All Toast Today

The consciousness of the masses is awakening once again, it sprung up overnight in something called Tea Partys.

I have been to some of those events, many are young families, I recalled one young woman saying that she used to think those who went out and demonstrated were strange and now she was out demonstrating.

Politics are we have known it is over.

People are no longer willing to let the Party Leadership decide for THEM what THEY should think and who THEY should choose to represent THEM.

 What they are saying IS.

Machine Politics is OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even in Des Moines County there has been rumbling of discontent with the direction of the RPI

Is Rebellion Brewing in Hell's Southeast Enclave?

The Des Moines County Republican Party Central Committee witnessed an uprising last night. Morris, I ain't no attorney no more, Hurd took the floor.

Iowa "Christian" Alliance Board member Morris Hurd started railing against Burlington Derailed. "Lies," all lies against the Iowa "Christian" Alliance President, Republican National Committeeman from Iowa, Iowa Faith and Freedom leader and business partner with Jack Abramoff's old partner, Ralph Reed. It was all just personal attacks against Steve Sheffler.

A few people finally stood up to the cultist bullies. It was pointed out the Derailed stories contained news organization links to Mr. Sheffler's nefarious actions. Local Republican leaders were asked if they ever read the Des Moines Register, or the Cedar Rapids Gazette. There is more to be learned than simply what is found in the Ad Vertiser.

One long time and well respected local Republican put it bluntly. Mr. Sheffler was representing his personal beliefs and prejudices, not the Republican Party of Iowa.

All Republicans should be given an equal opportunity to plead their case for public office. If they are homosexual, black, whatever, it should make no difference. The party as a whole should decide who is worthy on the ticket, not Steve Sheffler.

Reverend Hurd denied the political operations he and Sheffler run are Political Action Committees. Who does Morris think he is fooling?

A 2nd District wide movement calling for Sheffler's resignation from the Iowa Republican Party Central Committee and thereby the National Republican Committee was mentioned.

A resolution was introduced calling for Mr. Sheffler to resign.

The assembled Des Moines County Central Committee members resoundingly voted down the resolution calling for Sheffler's resignation. Afterward, questions were being asked. Those caught unaware are learning what has been kept from them.

We Are All Toast Today

Have you noticed that for some people,  statements that begin with

 "It's none  of my business,"

 Seem to end with

"Let me jump right into your private affairs, wallow around in them and disclose to the world at large your deepest secrets." ???

Remarkably like those who preface " I don't mean to hurt you" just prior to cutting out your heart and tossing it on the side of the road for the crows to peck at,

Our Iowa National Committeeman seems to have developed a fondness for two phrases

"I traditionally stay out of presidential contested races,"

and

"He's toast in Iowa."

Now some might agree with Mr Scheffler as far as concerns

"Fred Karger, a longtime civil rights advocate in California who is gay and has announced he is running for president."

Read more at

Iowa GOP committeeman to gay candidate: I’ll sink you

But when the same litany is directed at Haley Barbour?

I mean for anyone recalling his actions during the Katrina Crisis, the man is a Conservative Icon.

Read more at

Scheffler: Haley Barbour is ‘toast’ in Iowa

We are confronted with the ultimate result of Party Officials who take it upon themselves to decide who should represent us, rather than leaving that decision to us and the ballot box.

Of course this is not just limited to our National Committee Man but also our National Committee Woman

“My concern is Haley Barbour,” Lehman told Hotline OnCall in a phone interview today. “This is, in my opinion, poor leadership.”

Some of you may recall Ms Lehman and her complicity in negative campaign information directed at the 2cd District Republican Nominee in the 2008 GENERAL ELECTION.

Yes IMO partisan activity during a Primary is bad enough but to continue to attack the Nominee during the General Election?

Why do we still have in the RPI someone who helps elect DEMOCRATS??

If we continue to allow such activity in our State Party structure the only outcome will be as far as electing Republicans?

We will ALL be Toast.

I have some light reading for Mr Scheffler and Ms Lehman

They sorely need a primer and to quote someone they illustrate

in my opinion, poor leadership

When You Stare Into the Face of the Collective
Nietzsche said "

If you stare into the Abyss long enough the Abyss stares back at you.

To me the Abyss is the Collective Statist Mindset.

It is not only that the Progressive Left (and others) feel that they have the right to make our decisions for us,

Because they know what is best for those who have a more limited mental capacity than the elite.

But there seems to be an attitude that the Rules do not apply to them, because they know the Truth and their Hearts are Pure.

Jack Murtha was a classic example of both attitudes and no scene could more aptly illustrate this better than this video.

Now you may say, "Dan what else could you expect from the Progressive Left?"

I would agree with you but I think neither of us would expect that same Spirit to be alive and thriving in a State Convention of the Republican Party of Iowa.

But that is exactly what happened in the 2008 RPI State Convention.

I was THERE.  I SAW it. I HEARD it.

I ask you who are reading this to NOT take MY word for this.

Whether you believe the tale I am about to unfold or not,

I URGE you, if you were not there to search out someone who WAS,

Someone in whom you have confidence and ask them to relay to you in their own words what they witnessed.

As for me this is what I saw and heard.

There was some displeasure about the delegates to the National

Convention and it was evident an attempt would be made to change the make up of the delegation,

David Chung appeared before the Convention and explained to the Delegates the appropriate Parliamentary Method by which this could be done.

This process had no sooner started than a frantic motion was made to bring it to a halt.

Now at this point I must stipulate one thing,

Reasonable people could in truth have heard the Yeahs and Nahs differently.
The Yeahs for the most part came from the portion of the floor directly in front of the Chair,

The Nahs came from both of the wings

But there CANNOT be any difference of opinion as to the Chairs responce to Calls for Division,

That under Roberts Rules of Order does NOT have to be recognized by the Chair, can NOT be debated and MUST be acted upon.

That is to say a Count MUST be tallied.

Which the Chair DID NOT DO.

Calls for Division were IGNORED.

Not because they were not heard,

They came from all over the Floor and they came from people who held microphones and thus were on the loud speakers,

Now folks THAT is the way someone like Jack Murtha used to Chair, NOT what I expect to see happen in a  Convention of OUR PARTY.

At the time I swore I would do my best to see that this type of shameful behavior was not repeated during the Next State Convetion,'

I was distracted over the time until just recently because the same group that took control over the last State Convetion a few months later took control over my County Central Committee

And proceeded to operate under the same form of Violation of Rules in our State, County Constitutions ByLaws and Rules of Procedure.

So I spent the last year posting records of exactly which portions of the above were being broken,

I have been accused for my actions of being DIVISIVE.

If insisting that Constituions, ByLaws and Rules of Procedure are to be FOLLOWED and ENFORCED is Divisive

I STAND GUILTY AS CHARGED

I was recently called to task by our National Committeeman and the President of the Iowa Christian Alliaince, for my activities

Had this been done in a private communication, I could not ethically use it.

But it was done in a public forum, my Facebook Wall before and audience of some 1040 Facebook friends from all over the world.

I come from a kind of folk, who when called out RESPOND.

Here is our Exchange

Hide
Steve SchefflerDaniel W Kauffman Jr: My my you spend wasted time name calling and causing division in the party. If you and others who apparently spent one iota of your time working for good candidates as you do this off the wall junk--you would be awarded volunteer of the year. By the way did you see where the FEC said there was NO basis whatsoever to the accusations of people who were spreading malicious lies against ICA? So the lies about people going to jail sinks with all those lies being spread. You and others once again struck out because it is obvious to any intelligent person, you can't win the argument based on concrete facts and truth

Daniel W Kauffman Jr
I can win some arguments on facts I will present them in an upcoming article and the data will be what I myself witnessed not exactly violations of the Law or financial misconduct but flagrant violation of the Rules of procedure of the Republican Party of Iowa, during last years State Convention, which I intend to oppose a repetition of. I have had... See More some part in cleaning up some misconduct here in Linn county by placing it in the bright light of public attention, I plan to do the same thing for State Level misconduct, not Lies but ACTIONS taken in front of the entire State Convention last year that some of the new delegates might not be aware of . I accept that you prefer silence but Fiat justitia ruat caelum
3 hours ago
Daniel W Kauffman Jr
PS my major objections have nothing to do with the FEC investigation, but will be based on concrete facts and truth.
The gentleman's comment on the FEC  case refers to a few news articles I posted in passing a while back here is a link to the basic story.
From the Hawkeye.com

FEC again denies complaint against Hurd

Some items have no merit, some are out of FEC's jurisdiction.

I am not going to comment one way or the other on that matter,

My main points of contention with the gentleman are his organizations part in the events of the last State Convention and his work towards some form of Purity Tests by the Party Leadership

From the Iowa Independent

There is a basic difference between my outlook and that of Jack Murtha, the Chair at the Last State Convention and Mr Scheffler.

I may disagree with your choices I may attempt to persuade you that you are mistaken, but I will NOT take it upon myself to make those choices FOR you, because I think I know better than you.

There is only ONE Litmus Test I uphold, the Will of the Voters as expressed in their Primary.

That for me is IT.

I do NOT accept the concept that the Party Leadership gets to make those decisions FOR us.

In my opinion the Party Leadership should be stricly neutral during the Primary and Partisan during the General Election,

They shoud be our Trusted Servants, they should NOT Govern us.

I urge you to consider these matters, in particular the events of the Last State Convention,

Then relay your OWN position whether it be in agreement or opposition to me to other Republcans, those who will be attending this coming State Convtion,

 AND

Forward this to the new State Committee Members and ask THEM what THEIR positions are and what THEY intend to do to ensure our Rules of Order are followed in the Future

Here are links to them.

HATS OFF TO CHARLIE DANIELS

HATS OFF TO CHARLIE DANIELS....AT LEAST HE HAS THE COURAGE TO SPEAK HIS MIND!!!

I don't know how everybody else feels about it, but to me I
think Hispanic people in this country, legally or illegally,
made a huge public relations mistake with their recent demonstrations.

I don't blame anybody in the world for wanting to come to the
United States of America , as it is a truly wonderful place.

But when the first thing you do when you set foot on American soil is illegal it is flat out wrong and I don't care how many lala land left heads come out of the woodwork and start trying
to give me sensitivity lessons.

I don't need sensitivity lessons, in fact I don't have any-thing against Mexicans!  I just have something against criminals and anybody who comes into this country illegally is a criminal
and if you don't believe it try coming into America from a foreign country without a passport and see how far you get. What disturbs me about the demonstrations is that it's tanta-mount to saying, "I am going to come into your country even if it means breaking your laws and there's nothing you can do about it."

It's an "in your face" action and speaking just for me, I don't like it one little bit and if there were a half dozen pairs of gonads in Washington bigger than English peas it wouldn't be happening.

Where are you, you bunch of lily livered, pantywaist, forked tongued, sorry excuses for defenders of The Constitution? Have you been drinking the water out of the Potomac again?
And even if you pass a bill on immigration it will probably be so pork laden and watered down that it won't mean anything anyway Besides, what good is another law going to do when you
won't enforce the ones on the books now?

And what ever happened to the polls, guys?  I thought you folks were the quintessential finger wetters.  Well you sure ain't paying any attention to the polls this time because somewhere around eighty percent of Americans want some thing done about this mess, and mess it is and getting bigger everyday.

This is no longer a problem, it is a dilemma and headed for being a tragedy.  Do you honestly think that what happened in France with the Muslims can't happen here when the businesses who hire these people finally run out of jobs and a few million disillusioned Hispanics take to the streets?

If you, Mr. President, Congressmen and Senators, knuckle under on this and refuse to do something meaningful it means that you care nothing for the kind of country your children and grand-children will inherit.  But I guess that doesn't matter as long as you get re-elected.
Shame on you.
One of the big problems in America today is that if you have the nerve to say anything derogatory about any group of people (except Christians) you are going to be screamed at by the media and called a racist, a bigot and anything else they can think of to call you

Well I've been pounded by the media before and I'm still rockin' and rollin' and when it comes to speaking the truth I fear not.
And the truth is that the gutless, gonadless, milksop politicians are just about to sell out the United States of America because they don't have the intestinal fortitude to stand up to face reality.

And reality is that we would never allow any other group of people to have 12 million illegal in this country and turn around and say, "Oh it's ok, ya'll can stay here if you'll just allow us to slap your wrist."

And I know that some of you who read this column are saying "Well what's wrong with that?"
I'll tell you what's wrong with it.  These people could be from Mars as far as we know.  We don't know who they are, where they are or what they're up to and the way the Congress is going we're not going to.

Does this make sense?  Labor force you say?  We already subsidize corporate agriculture as it is, must we subsidize their labor as well?
If these people were from Haiti would we be so fast to turn a blind eye to them or if they were from Somalia or Afghanistan ?
I think not.

All the media shows us are pictures of hard working Hispanics who have crossed the border just to try to better their life.
They don't show you pictures of the Feds rounding up members of MS 13, the violent gang who came across the same way the decent folks did.  They don't tell you about the living conditions of the Mexican illegal some fat cat hired to pick his crop.

I want to make two predictions.

No. 1: This situation is going to grow and fester until it erupts in violence on our streets while the wimps in Washington drag their toes in the dirt and try to figure how many tons of political hay they can make to the acre.

No 2: Somebody is going to cross that border with some kind of weapon of mass destruction and set it off in a major American city after which there will be a backlash such as this country has never experienced and the Capitol building in Washington will probably tilt as Congressmen and Senators rush to the other side of the issue.

I don't know about you but I would love to see just one major politician stand up and say, "I don't care who I make mad  and I don't care how many votes I lose, this is a desperate situation and I'm going to lead the fight to get it straightened out."
I don't blame anybody for wanting to come to America , but if you don't respect our immigration laws why should you respect any others?
And by the way, this is America and our flag has stars and stripes  Please get that other one out of my face.

God Bless America

MY COUNTRY
  IF IT IS YOUR COUNTRY,
SPEAK UP!
I am not against immigration -
just come through like everyone else
Get a sponsor;
have a place to lay your head;
have a job;
pay your taxes;
live by the rules;
  and
LEARN THE LANGUAGE
as all other immigrants have in the past
and
GOD BLESS AMERICA!

PART OF THE PROBLEM

Think about this:

If you don't want to forward this
for fear of offending someone,
YOU'RE PART OF THE PROBLEM!

Will we still be the Country of choice

and still be America if we continue
to make the changes forced on us by
people from other countries who came
to live in America because it is the
Country of Choice?

Think about it!

All we have to say is, when will

Someone do something about
MY RIGHTS?
We've gone so far the other way,
bent over backwards to not
offend anyone, that I am now
  being offended.
But it seems no one has a problem
with that.

"In God We Trust"

is our national motto. This is not
some Christian, right wing, political slogan.
We adopted this motto because Christian men
and women - on Christian principles - founded
this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls
 of our schools.
It is Time for America to Speak up
If you agree - pass this along;
if you don't agree - delete it!

Remember '08?

Nashville is going through what Cedar Rapids went through,

Was it only two years ago??

Nashville Flood 2010: The Disaster You May Not Have Heard About

A great American city is currently buried under a sea of water, but you may not know much about it given all the attention media have given to the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and the failed car bomb attempt in New York's Times Square.

The rain totals are almost unimaginable as is the flooding.

Damage estimates at this point have already surpassed a billion dollars, and are likely to go higher.

My Hometown Paducah Ky is about 25 miles or so downstream of where the Cumberland joins the Ohio

Flooding there seems to be pretty much out in the country due to Barkley Dam

Flooding below Barkley Dam and Interstate 24 (background) is extensive. Barge companies are adjusting their routes, and the U.S. Coast Guard ordered recreational vessels off the Ohio and Cumberland rivers and Kentucky and Barkley lakes. The unprecedented ban is expected to continue until at least Monday. Violators could face a fine up to $32,500.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — The U.S. Coast Guard is warning that some rural parts of Kentucky are about to be inundated by the worst flooding in 200 years

Day Of Reckoning

Listen to this Video while you read the following

This song speaks to me in a special way.

If it does not do the same to  to you,

Then I am happy for you.

Not because it means you are unfeeling, callous or indifferent,

But because it means you are fortunate.

If you have  ever looked into  eyes that are two slits out of the Pits of Hell,

 It changes you.

If you have had that happen more than once

And even more, have that within you that which resonates with that pain from your own personal experience, though it originates from a totally different cause.

It Marks you,

And anywhere anytime you can see those marks in someone else.

I have looked into the Soul of the American Electorate and seen the Marks there.

For too long the Political Class has beaten us down, slapped us around, cheated, robbed and lied to us.

Some of us have bought into the lies, that, this is just the way things are.

That it is somehow our fault and what we deserve.

When a few have stood up to claim that what has been happening is wrong and against what this Nation was founded to Stand for,

We are called extremist, fringe, racist, xenophobes, clinging to our guns and thumping our Bibles.

They ridicule and defame  us and then to add  insult to injury, when we respond, decry the lack of civility in public discourse and put the blame on us.

In other words they use all the tricks and tools that someone who thinks they are Masters use to keep Slaves in their proper place,

But we are NOT Slaves, we are Free men and Women in the first Society in the History of the Human Race that  stands for the Rights of the Individual rather than an Autocratic Elite.

They do not like us to remember that,

To us has been given Three Things that stand as a Beacon of Light to the World

The Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

It is time to take back our Heritage from those who have betrayed it.

To paraphrase the song above with some slight alteration of it's words

Let  Freedom Ring,

Let the Eagle Scream

Let the whole world know that

November 2cd

Will be  a Day of Reckoning

Let the Weak be Strong

For the Right's been Wronged

Roll The Stone Away,

Let the Guilty pay,

It's Independence Day

I declare the 2cd American Revolution and it is for the same reason

that the 1st was declared,  Read the Declaration of Independence and

see for yourselves if what sparked it, is not upon us now,

There may be those now as back then who do not want any trouble of or '

confrontation.  Who are content to let others make their decisions for

them and be taken care of.

For them I repeat the words of Samuel Adams to those of that opinion in

his day.

If ye love wealth better than liberty,

the tranquility of servitude than the

animated contest of freedom, go

from us in peace. We ask not your

counsels or arms. Crouch down and

lick the hands which feed you. May

your chains sit lightly upon you,

and may posterity forget that you

were our countrymen!”

The Next Generation Will Vote Republican

You can forget about The Health Care Take Over

You can forget about  Cap and Trade, about Illegal Aliens and Voter Fraud

While these are Vital and Important Issues, there ARE some things which are

Sacred.

McDonald's 'Happy Meals' with toys banned
A county supervisor in California wants to ban Happy Meal toys and other similar treats that are given away with children's fast food meals.

This same county in Silcon Valley issued a law in 2008 that required chain restaurants to include a calorie count on their menus, which was later adopted by the state of California. And trends that start in California often spread to the rest of the nation.

Ken Yeager, the Santa Clara County Supervisor, is presenting a law at Tuesday's county board meeting to ban toys given away with unhealthy food. He believes the toys are used to encourage children to eat fatty, sugary, high-calorie meals that can lead to childhood obesity.

Yes when you start attacking Happy Meals and Ronald McDonald

You are going TOO FAR!!!!

And here I thought the Progressives were after the Young Vote.
