Political tags - such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and so forth - are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.

Some People Would Do It For Free
You can always count on a Socialist to spend money on what some people would or should do for Free.

The latest example come's to us via Michelle Malkin at
Condi Derangement Syndrome

Salt Lake Trib reporter blogs:

At the noon hour, a group of dusty construction workers are buying lunch at the 7-Eleven on Third West.
"I wonder what happened at that Death to Israel rally," says one. "What was that all about?"

When the hardhats learn that the organizer of the Death to Israel rally is offering $10 an hour to the homeless to be "surrogate protesters," they shake their heads.

"Better than minimum wage to sell your soul," says one.

Makes one wonder. $10/hour for demonstrating? I wonder how much for voting? Is it by the hour as well, or just a set fee? Will there be premium pay for multiple votes,or a bonus if the right candidate wins?

In other news I great to inform my readers there ARE things the Left is willing to do without having to be paid for their efforts.

Again from Michelle Malkin at Guardsman beaten, taunted as "baby killer" An awful story out of the peaceful Pacific Northwest tonight:

The Pierce County Sheriff's Department is searching for five people who allegedly attacked a uniformed National Guardsmen walking along 138th Street in Parkland Tuesday afternoon.
The soldier was walking to a convenience store when a sport utility vehicle pulled up alongside him and the driver asked if he was in the military and if he had been in any action.

The driver then got out of the vehicle, displayed a gun and shouted insults at the victim. Four other suspects exited the vehicle and knocked the soldier down, punching and kicking him.

“And during the assault the suspects called him a baby killer. At that point they got into the car and drove off and left him on the side of the road,” Detective Ed Troyer with the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.

Michelle has a few other incidents on her website, and I myself have an old post which relates how a crowd turned on an invalided vet during a 4th of July march with crys of Baby Killer and also how the mother of the 1000th soldier to die was treated by a group of Peace (?) activists in
Recall what happened to the Mother of the 1000th soldier to die?

As the 5th Anniversary of this centuries version of Pearl Harbor, the World Trade Tower approaches, lets spend some time thinking about those who stand between us and danger, try to make a difference from those who can't be bothered. Or in the words of Natalie Maines "don't see why people care about patriotism."
